I have a quick question- I just purchased an '04 MINI as a side car and am going to put in a media receiver. I mostly flip back and forth between bluetooth (iPhone) and SiriusXM, spending the majority of my driving time listening to satellite radio. I'm currently between this Kenwood and the Pioneer MVH-S512BS. In terms of ease of use, mid-drive functionality (switching XM stations/from satellite to bluetooth), which do you recommend? If you have another, unmentioned preference I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you!
It is very similiar to kenwood bt304 that is accesible in Europe. It has very good sound quality and you can use it as an DSP with 3way active crossover. It has powerfull RCA Output (4v); i recomend it :)
I like have the 3 sets of RCA in the back bcuz my Evo 8 SSL has 2 sets for the stock JBL amp that powers all the mids/highs, and I *NEED* that 3rd input for my aftermarket Amp to run my Subs. It's very annoying trying to run a ton of RCA splitters... Cluttered AF!

Man I just bought a truck with this same model in it and I can't get the Bluetooth to work through my phone. It's connected but after I pulled the whole thing out I found out there's no wireless microphone I guess that was attached so I'm screwed there and then on top of that no matter what I do I can't get the music to play even though it's connected. I need a damn College course to figure this one out

Looking at getting this stereo. But didn't really understand about what you was talking about the track titles showing up on the radio. I would be using via Bluetooth for Pandora. Would the track and artist show up on the stereo screen? If not is there a stereo out there that will? Thanks for your time.
if you go to the 1:56 mark in the video you will see the track title and artist's name of the song playing

This is all totally new to me, car stereo electronics. I'm a noob so sorry if my question is stupid or very basic. Will this unit allow me to do play music from UA-cam, stream music from Google music app and Bluetooth hands free calling? Really that's all I need lol. Thank you!
It has bluetooth so any audio will stream to the stereo from your phone! Audiobook, radio app, music apps, pandora, spotify, youtube music, everything, even if you play a video on your phone the audio will go to the stereo
When u say u can have up to 5 bluetooth devices does that mean all phones can ring at different times and you'll hear them through the speakers or do you have to manually switch between them?
It means you can switch between phones so one is in control, they won't all ring at once

Does pioneer make a cd less head unit similar to this one
To the best of my knowledge, the closest thing Pioneer has is the DEH-80PRS, but that came out in 2013. I hate Kenwood's button layout, and the LED's are too dim in daylight. Also, Kenwood's app compatibility is not as good as Pioneers. Maybe now that Kenwood has a similar product, Pioneer will update the DEH-80PRS.
