I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have a special talent for decorating. I like it.
Drea, you're absolutely amazing. I enjoy watching every one of your videos, and all i can say is forget about what the haters say. There's nothing wrong with how you want to design a home. I don't believe there's a right or wrong way. However you design it, it shows what you like. Your content and your commentating are what really matters and you do not let me down.
I quite liked the fish room, 💁🏼♂️🤣 not something I'd personally go for.. But it suited Drae down to a T, which made it hilarious! Carry on so we can sit by and laugh 👌🏻😂
I feel like the garage needs a loft or something for storage or at least some shelves. You could also make a laundry room in there ! 😅

At this point the line between "intentionally bad home design to drive up viewer engagement" and "Drae is just bad at designing homes" is beyond blurred

Drae as someone who woks with garage doors all you need is something supporting the rail in the back of it its called a back hang.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought of having a third channel where you start a game and play it until the end without much editing to the videos. They'd be long, but it'd be something I feel like a lot of us would watch.
I would definitely watch a feature length film of him trying to figure out how to make roofs

I love the fish room, i think it looks nice.
I didn't like the fish room too much, but it grew on me as I kept looking at it. I think it's nice.
I like it really, can't wait to see what the final plan is going to be, good job Drae!
To fix the house maybe you should add a room over the garage by exactly mimicking the left side and the middle piece thats slopped u can always make it slopped forward and not to the right..this can add symmetry to the house and more rooms.. 19:28 to look at what i am talking about

i actually rlly like draes home styles. he thinks outside of the box and it’s fun to watch. every other person i’ve seen play these games just do it cookie cutter and it gets boring. he also takes the time to furnish the rooms and really get things done unlike a lot of other people on youtube who rush

The beams would be nicer if they were thinner but your working in the games lines.
You do you Drae, it would be boring if we all gad the same taste!
I recommend changing the color of the beams to wood, darker wood or redwood might look best. (So no birch or light wood)
Or change it to type of metal with a slight gloss/shine.
You should want it to stand out due to how it was placed, right now it's like you're trying to hide it by blending it into the walls (unsuccessfully).
Alternatively... (this is more work but might actually make the outside look better).
To solve the wierd beam issue you could add a floor above the garage. Do this by deleting the current roof, add a floor that the garage door attaches to. Then put a small roof just on that, matching the original house.
Then add walls in the back, again matching the original house (essentialy expanded bedroom), but with the fence side being shorter. Then add a new roof on that. Or just have that second floor not exist in the back, making the garage short in front and tall in back. Like a backwards L shape if looking from the side.
Remember, you can tile on the ground/grass. So you could have your garage lowered by one tile if so desired.

The House Flipper’s neighbors in-game must think they are a house flipping god. Not only can they freaking fly, but they can refurbish homes in hours rather than weeks/months.

You should add cables/ropes to support the garage door and add some metal beams to make it look better instead of using the pillars

Main thing I would’ve done in the garage is run the beam left to right at then end of the garage door rails personally. Makes the room feel bigger
The workbenches are the ONLY appealing factor in that garage.

I think that the cleaning speed is okay. When things take too long they will get annoying when you want to do a lot of stuff. Also the process repeats so often that it would get very tiring
you asked at 2 min in who buys sticks .... my wife my wife would buy sticks then cover them in glitter and call it decrotive
That back door of the garage is slightly off center. One more block to the right side of the garage and moving the window right of the door one block over would make it perfect.
As someone who dealt with insurance damage mitigation.. floods are the WORST .. easier to have a fire.

15:31 Drae, you know that you can actually copy the design you want to use from old wall/floor to new? Did you forget that you can use your sell tool? It has copy function and will display exactly what you need, so you don't have to guess-buy

Here are some things I believe are wrong with this house so far.
(Please do not take this as an offense, it is just my personal opinion, and merely suggestions.)
Starting with the garage:
-You should move the back door to either the left or right side, to maybe put something beside it.
-The two windows next to the door make the design look amateur.
-Instead of windows on the wall, add skylights. (if they're in the game)
-Make sure everything is aligned, it you want it to be symmetrical.
-The marble tile floor does not fit a garage, more like a bathroom.
-You should add more textures on the walls, or even a feature wall, so everything doesn't look all blocky.
-Adding the back door to the left or the right side of the room will maybe allow a little platform with a ladder above it, maybe for more storage.
-To fix the garage door rail issue, layer a flat roof on a slanted one, that way it will make it so the roof is flat on the inside and slanted on the outside. (removing the platform with a ladder aspect)
-You could possibly have the sloping roof slanted towards the left wall of the house, because a lot of modern homes are not symmetrical.
-The blue walls make the room look sad and dreary due to the untextured roofing and the window sill colours.
-The French glass door leading into the house should preferably not be see-through.
-I think instead of the uplights on the struts, put some hanging industrial lights to make the room feel more open.
Apart from that, I think the workshop tables are very clean and smart, and same with everything else, including the car.

The garage actually isn't bad, so that's 1 for like 10 in drae house design! 😂
Have you considered making the garage flat and turning it into a patio/balcony or giving you space to expand a room upstairs?

Gotta say, corkboard looked kinda strange at first since it won't really hold much, but more i think about it, more i like the idea. It's no pegboard, but would work well as sound deadening around power tools. Plus that lighter wood-y look is kinda nice above a darker wooden workbench.

Nothing is wrong with your fish room and fire pole I like it in a way having a fire pole in your house is really handy ...for you not your hands because they will have blisters on them but your interior design is perfectly fine idk why people who spend the day on UA-cam not touching grass are telling you that your taste in decor is bad keep up the good work😊

if you want to slope the roof towards the building instead, you should build the roof from the opposite two angles, starting the first one on the left front corner

I'll be honest. I like the garage except for the back door and bottom two windows. The top row of windows with just a wall under it looked a lot better imo.

The idea to remove garage is actually good
I tried to visually enlarge the room with color combinations and adding a bit of space by enclosing the porch. Turned out nice but still kinda tight.
