- This weeks video will be a home gym makeover where I show you our DIY workout room from start to finish. We weren’t originally anticipating putting a gym in our home but with how these past couple years have gone, we figured it would be a good investment. I’m super pumped (no pun intended... LOL) with how it all turned out and it just may be one of my new favorite rooms in the house! I really wanted a serene, calm, but yet motivating space we could do cardio, yoga, workout videos, and weightlifting in. Wall Moulding (All of these are ACTUAL measurements)
All sides to the board and batten were the same size except for the top: 3 and 1/2 inches wide, 3/4 inch thick
Spacing: 14 3/4 inch spacing between each board
-68 3/4 inch tall for the vertical boards (not including top and bottom strip)
Top “skinny” moulding piece: 1 and 1/2 inches wide, 3/4 inch thick

My whole builder grade house is painted in Agreeable Gray. It a beautiful color in the main living areas, it’s like a warm gray/beige

Such a great before and after! We have a little work out space in our second living and I have been trying to figure out a way to make it look like an intentional transition. Moving into a new house, finally after 30 years of apartment living - finally reached house level and I cannot wait to incorporate this home gym for me and my love ones.
This is beautiful! I love the wall mounding and might do the same for my rooms. I didn’t like the generic art but would totally replace with a photo or something.

Very nicely done. I just upgraded my house too and in transition to finish decorating, the drapes you used might work for my dining room. Have tall walls and finding that a bit challenging to decorate, I am thinking a gallery wall.
