Yes, tune to double C, and put a capo on the second fret. Then tune your 5th string up to A. That means you would be playing in the key of D. That's what I'm playing, and most people play this in D. Hope it works for you, thanks for the comment!

I’m new to banjo playing…. Does that mean that the chords I can use are the ones for Dbl C tuning if the capo is used?
