Thank you! This is a dark heather gray you just leave it out until it’s bright white. Best results for having it turn white is checking your UV index it’s best to bleach when it’s a 3 or higher.
Im looking for cool tie/bleach dye tutorials and this one weirded me out lol the print says "grundy county auction" and i grew up in grundy county IL. But now live about 950 miles away, very confused by this coincidence..
This specific shirt will not work anymore unless Gilden is going to change it back, because it won’t turn white as they change their base of the shirt to gray. A great alternative is Bella canvas dark heather gray but you have to be careful with it as if the bleach sits on too long it will get really thin
Once it turns white, you bleach it again and it turns a rust color then it has to go into the peroxide bath which stops the bleaching process and keeps it that rust color
I don’t dilute. I never have bleach eat through the shirts as they are a poly cotton blend, i aslo make sure to watch them and throw them in peroxide once they turn white
@@ljstouchofcountry262 It is a dark grey 100% cotton T-shirt and the UV was 7 I believe. I tried using a more concentrated bleach but it still barely bled the grey to a dark blue after two hours

This has helped me alot. I have not been able to make good bleached shirts. Tysm
Best Tutorial I have seen yet...thank you💖
Great tutorial! ❤
This is actually very dope
looks amazing
What kind of shirts do you use ? Are these 50/50 or?
60/40 dark heather
Why don't you use black? Just curious. I've seen several ppl start with grey. What's the reason behind this?

Awesome ❤
Very pretty
thank u so much for tuturial
Is this a 50/50 blend
Do you wash in between bleaches
Are your shirts wet or dry?
Dry

What is the ratio of peroxide and water please
I used Softstyle 60/40 and got barely any bleaching. Guess it was the wrong shirt. What exact shirts did you use? Great video!
Use cotton shirts
Heather color 65/35
How much proxied?
15-20 seconds or minutes?
I have a hard time getting grey shirts white. What brand do you have
Heather color
how could u do white wıth bleach cuz mine is orange
What color shirt did you start with?
Dark heather grey
What do you use for sublimation? Brand? Mine aren’t as vibrant as I’d like
I use an ET15000 to print, htvront paper and cosmos ink! Cosmo has a template as well that will help you set your colors perfectly.

How do you get the rust colour? Is that post-peroxide rinse?
Once it turns white, you bleach it again and it turns a rust color then it has to go into the peroxide bath which stops the bleaching process and keeps it that rust color
Can we get a video on the pressing part after bleaching ? The scorching part
Yeah I’ll do one today I have some orders to fill I’ll put up a video tonight :)

Do the shirts have to completely dry before peroxide bath?
Do you wash your shirts before bleaching?
No, only after they bleach
Can you use a black shirt to do this process?
No, black will get holes you have to use a poly/cotton blend shirt
How do you get it white? Mine is just orange no matter how much bleach I use. Does it have to do with sunlight?
What kind of shirt are you using? I bleach these on days the UV is 4+ it will help them turn white quicker

Either a 50/50 poly cotton for a 60/40 poly cotton.
Are you pouring hydrogen peroxide into the water in the machine? And when you take it out you’re just bleaching again?
You don’t bleach anymore after you wash them. You bleach them first, once they turn white you scrunch them bleach again wait till it starts turning rusty and throw it in the peroxide bath and wash them
I did this but mine won’t turn white. Bleach dries up in the sun does the bleaching stop once it dries?
Is the shirt poly/cotton? It sometimes will dry quick and not turn if it’s too hot out.
Did you wash it in peroxide twice ?
Nope just once 😊
You sprayed peroxide after you pressed your design?
Yes, if you sub after bleach it leaves a scorch mark once you spray peroxide and throw it back out in the sun for a minute it will turn back white
What is the design call
Is it straight bleach or 1/2 bleach & 1/2 water
Straight bleach I don’t dilute

No, because that’s a completely different method and it won’t turn out the same. Bleaching is easy it just takes patience
Are the shirts damp or dry before you start the process?
No they are dry
What printer system is this?
Et15000
How long the color will last anyway? still newbie
As long as the shirt lasts. I’m not sure what you exactly mean. Once it’s bleached and washed and dried what the color is is what it will be

It’s just cold water and a little bit of peroxide. You rinse them in the peroxide and water and then wash them

You let your bleach sit too long, once it’s white and you do the “cowhide” effect after it has to go into the peroxide bath quick.
