Love the block stitch , Thankyou so much! Mine was looking different but then I discovered that I was doing half double crochet instead of single crochet, so I ripped it out and began again and now it’s looking fine!
Hello and thank you for your tutorial for the block stitch. Fantastik. I just started with the main color white and camo blue for the accent color. My daughters B'day is coming up in mid Feb. She wanted a small/med lab blanket and even thought I have only 5 rows so far, it looks fantastic. The camo accent comes out as sparkles in diff blues. Fantastic! Thanks again. Ilona👍🤗

Hi Ophelia, I think this blanket would look beautiful with a double border too, like what Tinnia uses for her mosaic blankets. Do you think that’s possible with a block stitch blanket, instead of weaving in all those ends?
Oh yes indeed, it will work on any blanket, you don't need lots of ends to hide, just do the double border! Anja x

I start making a shell pattern baby blanket but I think this pattern will lay flatter and baby fingers won’t gat caught in the pattern.

The first sample you show with the double crochet in the dark blue and light blue and the accent row is the white. How do you change colors from the dark to the light?
Pretty pattern. I'm just a little bit confused because the thumbnail pic shows there are 2 main colors and one accent color but in the tutorial, you demonstrate 2 accent colors and 1 main color.
How do you recommend doing a border especially along the side after your have weaves in the ends.
