However, I proceeded and it was installed successfully. Will I get any problem later because of this? I need to connect to it for database of my .net Project. Please Reply

right click the application then compatibility, run compatibility troubleshooter. change the version where its compatible.
It gives me error messages during the installation, says attempted to perform an unauthorized operation, and failed to open the registry key

I ran as admin, not working. But anyway, I install 2012 version instead and it works.
