NZ Deep South Tour Part 8 - Wanaka to Walter Peak

In December 2022 we travelled to New Zealand to spend 7 weeks bicycle-touring in the Deep South.
We spent a day exploring Wanaka and doing a cruise on the lake, before riding the road to Cardrona. We then crossed the Crown Range saddle (about 1170m) and descended into the Kawarau Valley to head on to Frankton. From Queenstown we took the last steamer across Lake Wakatipu to camp at Walter Peak.
