@@blindspot_adventures I really love the campsite by the river. I wish we could have camped there, but we were afraid of the big mud hole, coming from highway 16/21. We were in my dad’s 2007 Silverado 4WD but didn’t want to chance it. Did you come in that way? It looks like you left camp by crossing the river and going out Kapark Road to Cave Mountain Road. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you come up with the name Blind Spot Adventures?

@@randytempleton5797 the forest road on the opposite side of the river can be a challenge for sure with a technical section with a significant rock step. I've gotten to the campsite from both directions and the one you took is definitely the easier way. As for the name of the channel I had an accident that left me completely blind in my left eye a couple years ago. The name blind spot is both because of my vision impairment but also overcoming the mental challenges of adjusting to monocular vision.

@@blindspot_adventures Thanks for the road info. I am so sorry to hear that. I thought the name may have come from a vision problem. I hope you are adjusting to your impairment. I was born with an amblyopic left eye, super blurry, no correction possible. Then 22 years ago I developed Multiple Sclerosis. I have a blind spot in my right eye, and quadruple vision in my left eye. Again, no correction possible, other than I have a pair of glasses with very high magnification for my left eye that I can read whatever I’m looking at, holding it 3 inches from my glasses. The right lens is blacked-out. But we both continue to cope and live our lives with as much fun as possible😀.
