Whatever you’re gonna carry, carry the one that you are most accurate with and you know is reliable. $500 or $5000 I don’t care if it gets confiscated. If it save my life or my loved ones you can’t put a price on that.
No. You carry gun that you will carry all day, everyday, years on end. Keyboard warriors and tacticool ex military etc bsing their way trough inter tubes with no end in sight. Worst part is this people give advice that some inexperienced person trying to do the right thing is going to listen to. I agree with everything you said. Keeping it real as well as a full size weapon light. I am getting a Glock 19 soon as my second firearm and going to have a stream light tlr 7A on it. Fits flush and keeps it all compact. I am a college student going for criminal justice and law enforcement as a career. When I get to my career that’s when I will buy a full size pistol and make it my duty carry with the x300 and the aim point red dot. Amazing video
Honest. Most guys use a light for nothing. But carry. Most guys use the knife for strictly fashion. But still carry. You said the light will most likely be used to find something you dropped on the floor, yes that’s most true. And doesn’t matter the cut or presentation of their knife, for their application. Very true. Very practical.
Honestly I’ve found the light makes it more comfortable. The more there is below the fulcrum of the belt, the less it jabs your pelvis, but keeps the gun from tipping away from the body. I carry with a full size gun and an x300t with a spare mag and work in a trade moving around and bending a bunch. Also, the whole point of a light is PID , navigation (when you already know you need your gun out, not for in general) and potentially removing the eye sight on whoever needed a gun drawn on them. On top of that, especially in urban areas, candela really helps to punch through photonic barriers. Handheld is definitely going to get waaaay more use than a pistol light in every day use though, but still. I only want a light with more flood if it’s dedicated to be in a house.
If you're looking for more concealment, try putting the retention claw on the front side of the holster, this will help hide the grip. Just my 2 cents, great vid!

The main reason to carry an extra mag is not because you may need 40 rounds, it’s because you will more likely to need it in case of a malfunction. The number one reason for weapons malfunctions are faulty magazines. Just a thought.
