That's so great to hear Abi!!
WOW, super easy! The best part is because of it's simplicity you can modify it without messing about too much. Thanks for the pattern.
Thank you so much. I have been hunting the stores to buy one and accidentally landed on your channel. I will make my own now. You are a very good teacher.
I made this for myself and it is adorable. So quick and easy to make. My husband couldn't believe I made it. Perfect to wear over a tank top. Thanks for the pattern.
KindleCrazy Oh, that's great KindleCrazy!!
I want to say "Thank you" for all the time and effort that you put in each and every project. You do wonderful Tutorials. Please, never stop ;-) I love your work! Thank you! Daniella
I can appreciate this issue from the customer's point of view... but from a designer's position, it's an incredible investment of time, effort, and calculations to develop pattern instructions for multiple sizes. I do try to do it as much as possible though.
I love this shrug. It is very simple. I must try this. Thanks for sharing.
omg I am in love with this shrug and so easy and delightfully pretty , thank you for making such wonderful clothing and videos on how you made them.
I love your videos/tutorials. I'm new to crocheting. Your videos are short and clear. Thank you...

Lovely video, very informative.Crocheting is truly an art. Two thumbs up!
Hi Emmy,Thank you so much for this pattern, you are very easy to follow, and give clear concise instructions. I have started the shrug , I am looking forward to completing it. Best wishes Barbara
Barbara Sweeney Thanks Barbara!!
Just a super pattern and love your explanation..Clear and concise! THANKS!
So pretty and straight to the point, great job!
Make a chain that reaches from elbow to elbow, when wrapped around your back, in the same manner as you would be wearing the shrug. Leave a long yarn end in case the number of chains need to be adjusted when you reach the end of the chain. You can add the extra stitches with the yarn end.
Try chain 125, then put the chain around yourself as though wearing the shrug, see if the chain reaches from one elbow to the other.. if not add more stitches in sets of 10, then continue with the pattern.
Yes, for more coverage, simply add more rows.
I'm working on crochet shorts at the moment... keep watching!
This shrug can be made any size... it's just a matter or making a rectangle that is the correct size.
I love your designs they're simple and easy
Thank you for this. I made one and it looks lovely. I enjoy watching your videos.
I made this. It was easy and it is beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial
Probably chain 155... but if you want longer sleeves, add more stitches 10 at a time. Best solution would be to make a foundation chain, and then put it around your back as though wearing it, and see where the sleeves end up.
Thank you, that never crossed my mind that everyone could view it. Thanks for the quick response.
Love it! I cant wait to try this!!! Thank you so much. Its such a gorgeous shrug & easy, but looks more complicated & hard to make.
How many stitches for a medium size shrug?
Very simple and elegant...thank you !
Shorts seem to be an incredibly sought after pattern. I have really worked hard on this one, so that I could provide a pattern that would allow everyone to be able to make shorts of any size. Being a seamstress also, I have devised a way to make them in the same manner as cutting and sewing clothes. I will be posting soon... maybe as early as tomorrow!!
Gracias Angela!!
THANK YOU so much. I am so thankful. You got me hooked and make crocheting easy!
That's beautiful and the pattern is easy thank you so much.
Lovely shrug, only sewed two patterns together for arms.
Yay!! Great to hear!!
Exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks again Emi!
hermoso...lo voy a hacer para que mi pequeña hija lo use en sus clases de ballet, gracias Emi !!! saludos desde Chile :)
Oh... so sorry Brittany! Yes, you are absolutely correct... it is 105 chains and not 102. Thanks so much for posting!
I have corrected it. I don't think I can edit the words saying 102 though... going to try.
Merci Francoise!!
This is way cool. I will incorporate a ruffle of Patons Pirouette into the design to be crocheted into an edging as a twist to the look.
NEAT!!!! Send in a pic when you finish, and I will put it in my next "Viewer Submissions" video!!! Love to see it! Emi
Now when you put it in that aspect I understand. Thank you for explaining.
Making one like this...Thank you !!! cant wait to be done !!!

I do love it! thanks for all your vids and help. i have learned to crochet and knit this year. Although i am still a beginner, this is something I will enjoy making. I was also confused by number of starting chain...102 or 105. Thank you for clarifying in this thread that it is105 as stated in directions written under video tutorial.

Hi beckysbbk! Chain 125.
j'adore j'ai vu un autre ouvrage de ce genre..
Can you please tell me what kind of stitches this is
This is cute. Do you have a tutorial for a spring/summer sleeveless cardigan for a beginner? I did like your beginner's shawl and am almost finished with it. Looking for next project. Thank u so much.
Hmmm... I do have this one. You could follow the video, using worsted weight yarn, and the same large 9 mm hook, and you would have an open weave, somewhat lacy finish, sleeveless cardigan:
