Jacob the carpet-trapper
Lol
🤣🤣🤣
“What’s up with all the sprites” omg you’re so innocent. I love it 😂😂
Yes bless his heart 🤣
I guess I am innocent too what does it mean?
@@karyn3341 its mixed with cough syrup containing codeine to make "syzurp" or "lean" sometimes you will find jolly ranchers in the drink as well.
@@ParaRob Oh okay thanks!
sprite, promethazine/codeine and jolly ranchers. double cup cause itll melt thru the styrofoam
Never in my life did I think the Carpetbagger would go to the Trap Music museum lol great video tho man
FACTS 😂😂😂😂 click bait
N be nlmmmllmkpml mmmuu
Right 😭
• I Swear Kuhh 😂😂😂😂
I clicked on this as soon as I saw it. The fact that the CarpetBagger isn't super familiar with trap music makes this more fun.
Our beloved Jacob is a good boy lol
I’m not familiar with it either so I was curious about the title too
When you the only white guy in a trap music museum.. "You a cop? You keep an eye on him, he looks suspect!"
Lol
They probably glanced at his shoes, saw him wearing crocs and was like "okay he's probably cool."
Carpetbagger and Trap music. Now I've seen everything lmao.
“What’s up with the Sprite?”🤣
Lean in my cup and purp in my blunt
It’s lean
At the end of 2020, 1 lone white man enters the "Trap Music Museum".
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is only funny if you are racist. Biden won. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
🤣🤣🤣
@@tylermceldridge621 I'm not racist nor American so chill out mate!
I can really appreciate you going to that museum and trying to learn something about the culture and lifestyle. Kudos to you!!!
So So True! 👍
"Carpetbagger theme (Chopped & Screwed Remix)"
I cannot believe Jacob went to the Trap Museum! That is so dope! The Trap museum is owned by TI. That's why you saw so much of him. As far as the Snowman exhibit the picture of the guy on the wall is Young Jeezy and his Persona is the Snowman and it was very controversial at the peak of his stardom. The guy that was on the wall that you didn't know who he was was Yo Gotti a Memphis rapper. A trap is wherever you make your money at no matter what it is. It's not limited too just drugs. As far as the pink car goes there was a all pink house in Atlanta called the trap house owned by rapper 2 Chainz where the car used to be parked. It was a very popular tourist spot and yes it was in very many videos! Hit me up if you have more questions!
Trap music is basically southern gangsta rap music
“ Are you a cop” lol x
I'm from Atlanta and Jacob that was real cool man 😎 l been suscribed to you for a while dude l like all your content bro stay safe on your many more journeys Ahead ,✌😎💯
Standing on hundreds in your crocs.. now that’s a flex! 😅 thank you for taking us with you
I think someone needs to trapify the carpet bagger song.
OMG YES PLEASE LOL-
Yesss
This one's in the bag....
of illicit substances! 😆😂
Jacob went to the Trap Museum! "These are references I'm not getting."
"What's with all the Sprite?" 🤣
I love this guy!
wow you really get mad respect. Thank you for coming to the city. Hope you enjoyed it.
14:41 You gotta carry that much cash because you never know when an opportunity is going to present itself.
That's so awesome that you went there! I remember watching T.I working on it on one of the seasons of his reality show. Hopefully one day I'll get to visit
That sign she is holding is quoting the song Scotty by D4L
never thought i'd see jacob in a simulated trap house LOL
Reminds me of that scene in Uncle Buck
Jacob knows what a trap house is he use to be a social worker lol this is why I subscribe to you. Your are so awesome.
Yooooo. Carpetbagger a g. I cant believe he went there. So dope.
I can’t be the only one finding the carpetbagger’s trip to the trap museum completely hilarious!!!🤣🤣
I always wondered what my boy Jacob be baggin. Now it all comes full circle
i was not ready for this crossover
Just a couple facts..... you see a lot of ti because he is considered the founder of trap music....his second album was called Trap Muzic.
The room full of white bricks is not snow.... it’s cocaine....dedicated to young Jeezy aka the snowman
Yo gotti was the translucent guy.....a Memphis trapper known for Coke
All the sprite is for “dirty sprite” made with codeine and promethazine or pretty much anything with low caffeine....modern day heroin aka lean
The pink trap is dedicated to 2 chainz....from his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album....he literally had a pink trap in one of the neighborhoods everything was pink as you can see lol
As far as the “Trap”.....it doesn’t necessarily mean illegal activity..... a trap is a hustle......by any means.....fast food workers....business owners....the people you see holding signs....all have their respective traps.........btw I appreciate the content......much respect to you for going and learning about something that’s seems so out of your element....it’s stuff like this that makes America a better place....good job bro
TI also is the founder and owner of the trap museum. You can goggle it. Are watch his reality show where they are putting it all together.
I agree to I love going to museums I love learning about different people, culture, food, and religions.
Same here.
Yup me too!
@@julianacromey7151 it’s just so interesting to me
@@jhaniajohnson7158 Yeah me too. I just enjoy museums. They are cool (well most of them) thats the need in me lol. 🙂
@@julianacromey7151 Do you like gone with the wind they have a museum in Atlanta I think
This video is so funny 😂 so many things misunderstood by jacobs innocent mind 😭 love the vid!!!
They mix cough syrup with the Sprite. It's called dirty lean or mud ect
Pretty sure my grandma did that to make me drink it when I was small. Obvi a safe dose of medicine was poured in. My grandma was the original trap grandma! Ahahhaa.
it’s just called lean btw it’s used heavily in rap music
@@officialjaxx111 I know what it is and where it originated from. Was giving a short example of names bc it's called other things in other places. And it's pretty good when u can get your hands on it. The real promethazine/codeine
@@scottiecasey9312 it's also terribly addicting and has killed many people from over doses. Including a couple well known rappers. Most notably from the chopped n screwed and trap music sub genres. Most recently Juice Wrld succumbed to a sudden OD but that wasnt soleltly from the lean although that probably helped jump start his journey into opiate use.
I know where this originated at: Houston, Texas. DJ Screw made the music slow in order for it to be experienced while sipping on lean.
I love when you experiment and go to new places. Kudos for getting out of your element.
The look on his face is priceless
trap means exactly what the word means trap because usually a trap house is one way in one way out usually in apartments where there's only one way in one way out and so when the cops raid there's no way out and you're trapped
Lol not at all… maybe where you live
Jacob You went to the trap!!!! Lol. No musuem is Safe from Exploration of TCB!!!
This reminds me when Adam The Woo took a Hood Tour through Crenshaw and Compton in Los Angeles!
Holy crap what I would’ve given to be in there, with Jacob walking through and explaining everything 😂
I genuinely love that no place is off limits and you give them all the same “my viewers might not know this stuff so I’ll read and explain everything.” It’s genuinely helped me and my family find some crazy places to go!
I thought it was connected to the Trapp family from The Sound of Music. Think I’m a bit behind the times 😉
So did I
@@brendakrieger7000 3 😶
Based on the Von Trapp Family Singers? Good one! As an aging punk, I recall OG rap, & think crack houses somehow morphed into traps. My generation glorified drugs. This one tends to glorify the green it generates. They seem more money-minded where we simply had muddled minds. In grade school, my best friendgurl & I would invite neighbor boys over when folks were away & try to coerce them into drinking mystery cocktails, concocted from various items scavenged from the medicine cabinet mixed w/sodapop & Smarties, an early precursor to the Sprite, cough syrup, Jolly Rancher mix.
This is an immersive experience
This is a great video of old school things we use and eat; even a rap stars personal things
I’m startin to see spaceships in Bankhead,
I roll with gangstas, pill poppas, and dank heaaaads😂
This is one of your Best Videos!....
All the sprite is for a drug called lean. It’s a cough syrup with codeine and you mix it with sprite.
Don't forget the crushed candy
It's totally amazing what ppl in the comments will teach you😂
This is amazing. It’s gong to be nearly impossible to outdo this masterpiece. Bravo!
Admiral Akbar's favorite genre.
Try the veal!
wearing crocs and standing on $100 bills is iconic.
It’s my legacy
Carpet Bagger! I love this so much! "This one is in the bag of illicit substances" LOL
Carbetbagger in tha trap (museum)! Nice!
I truly LOVE that you did this!
I really love how they put this whole thing together. Kinda a new twist on a walk through museum/exhibit... really cool and unique.
8:00 lol that not brick of snow dem bricks of coke 😂😂😂
This place seems like an interesting place to visit 👀
Boy, you sure did blend in
TI and Outcast live in Atlanta
So much T.I. because he is the owner
I love Urban culture it is rich and full of creativity we need more museums.
Love it, thanks for this one!
Ti is from Atlanta and the snowman is young Jeezy they call him the snowman very interesting
I thought it was Ohgeesy from shoreline mafia?
The carpet bagger about ready to go flip a P now 😆
Thanks for this video!
Jacob you are so awesome for being a Man of all types! Your channel hits harder than 808s!!!
Jacob, it's videos like this that make you my favorite UA-camr ever. You find the most interesting, unexpected places to go and you walk through and just speak your thoughts (and honestly, I'd be just as confused at most of the exhibits as you were). Thanks for finding these kind of fascinating places to visit!
That's awesome, they name a museum after a house, where drugs ate sold. That epitomises progress. They've evolved.
The snowman is referencing Young Jeezy
He was terrified he was gonna get robbed and shot at the beginning when that lady said he was suspicious
this may be your finest work. great video!
That's up there with the most exciting line waiting I've ever seen and definitely the best tour guide! 😁
🤣🤣🤣🤣😩 this was so funny! I’m from Atlanta!
The expression of “Trap” means being stuck or caught up in a setting where you don’t know how to get out. Most people try to find the quickest way out and that’s usually the way that have them end up back in that environment.. the trap!
So, Jacob is persona non grata at the quilt museum, but welcomed with open arms and allowed to take all the video and pictures he wants at the Trap Music Museum. God bless America!
I clicked so fast!! Thank you, Mr. Carpetbagger!! 👍👌👊✌
Just so you know, the sprite is popular bc it is used to mix with codeine/promethazine to make "dirty sprite". Loved the video and very glad you decided to go and share the experience.
That was a great learning experience:)
I love your videos and it is good to see different culture museum.
Love this so much I went last year and only cuxx carpet went ❤
As far as exhibit design goes that place looks awesome
Really enjoyed this video and I was laughing and learning with you. haha
Loved this video. I heard the term but wasn't familiar with the music style so was excited to watch this. Looks like a great museum run by cool people. ♡
I love that you did something so interesting like this. Love your channel❤️
So much fun to watch!!! I really enjoyed this!
i was just there today.... what a dope experience and im a TI fan so this was super dope
Love Carpetbagger lol this made my night lol
I love all kinds of music, when I saw OutKast, I thought of the song So Fresh, So Clean, love the video. Now how can that song be bad in 2020? 😁
I bet he didn't know at least 60% of that museum he probably thought the baby bottle had regular Kool aid in it 🤣 "Why is that glass cup in the water on the stove!?"- going through his head as he saw it I guarantee it ahhahahahaha
Looked like you were trapped in a super spreader event.
Might be safer to go to the von Trapp museum next time.
“I think these are references I don’t get”!no truer words have ever been said by Jacob!!
This was a glorious video. Thanks for going there!
One of your best dude... that was brilliant. Stay safe out there though we worry about you being around so many folks!
A great episode. looking forward to tonight's LIVE chat.
That was awesome!!! Thanks for taking us along on this one..
I didn't know what it was either .fun people giving the tour.
I’m visiting ATL and looking for something new to do. I came across this video and I’m now definitely going… His narration is hilarious to me. I can’t wait to see how many I know 😂😂
He had guns. I thought that lady was great!! I'm old but I never heard of Trap! I will look into it!
I literally was talking to my friends yesterday about going to the Trap Museum and you post this today, hah!
This was a cool museum.
Trap music with the sound of the South major in Atlanta Florida started mostly in Atlanta
Going out of your element on this one lol...must be a sign somewhere saying wheelies must be done while passing the trap music museum. This was great.
You are awesome
Oh my god man I love you so much. Incredible video. You are the man.
0:22 wow, I'm suprised Jacob.. I forsure thought trap is the only type of music you listen to.. 😂😂😂
Been watching you for years would never think you go to the trap house museum but definitely glad you took time to experience it
