It's also letting the braindead Mr. Beast worshipers cling to the idea that he's done nothing wrong, which isn't the case. Like you said, Mr. Beast is a company and when a company does something very wrong or commits crimes, they apologize and offer compensation to those hurt from their actions, which Mr. Beast needs to do. Moreover, if they did commit crimes, they do face legal action and people do end up in jail so however this drama goes Mr. Beast gotta pay up and maybe face some jail time.

The controversy matters because the real world outside the internet and youtube have gotten wind of it. Sponsors wont want their brands being associated with him, even Amazon with their planned Beastgames are already trying to wiggle out of it. Beast may be able to keep at it, with all the kids still watching, but if sponsors go away (pdf-iles are a bad look), if youtube takes away the monetisation (the illigal lotteries are a thing, among others)... its going to be hard. I agree, he wont fall... but he will lose some padding. Kids wont bother, but many adult fans will, and some of the kid's parents probably too.

I've been watching Mr. Beast for so long, and with the recent controversy, it really made me question, who is Jimmy? I've watched his past videos and his podcasts, and you can clearly see this guy is just happy making people entertained with his videos, but to what extent was his fascination with making videos? Was it to only get as many views and subscriptions, not considering who is watching it Or how he is getting those numbers? Or was he someone who took pride in getting views by providing genuine content? To me, he was the later one, but recently it's leaning towards "he was always evil to begin with". I'd really like to know what his real thoughts are, if not for the mr. Beast company.

This was a really good video and I agree with nearly all of it! I think you've also sort of fallen into the trap of treating Jimmy as some sort of non-human figure and I think that's a brand he cultivates in his purposeful lack of a real personality that would be off-putting/his obstentious shows of generous wealth. I totally agree with the idea that this won't effect Jimmy financially but I also think it's pretty probable it does emotionally, for better or worse. I think he's as human as the rest of people and having so many people call him out will harm his ego. Will this make him change his videos/ways of interactions? No, probably not, lmao. I just think that we end up buying up into his brand even if uniintentionally. Mr Beast is too big to fall unless actual illegality was done. But Jimmy? He's just human. Beast may be able to keep at it, with all the kids still watching, but if sponsors go away (pdf-iles are a bad look), if youtube takes away the monetisation (the illigal lotteries are a thing, among others)... its going to be hard. I agree, he wont fall... but he will lose some padding. Kids wont bother, but many adult fans will, and some of the kid's parents probably too.

I've been watching Mr. Beast for so long, and with the recent controversy, it really made me question, who is Jimmy?
I've watched his past videos and his podcasts, and you can clearly see this guy is just happy making people entertained with his videos, but to what extent was his fascination with making videos? Was it to only get as many views and subscriptions, not considering who is watching it Or how he is getting those numbers?
Or was he someone who took pride in getting views by providing genuine content?
To me, he was the later one, but recently it's leaning towards "he was always evil to begin with".
I'd really like to know what his real thoughts are, if not for the mr. Beast company.

This was a really good video and I agree with nearly all of it! I think you've also sort of fallen into the trap of treating Jimmy as some sort of non-human figure and I think that's a brand he cultivates in his purposeful lack of a real personality that would be off-putting/his obstentious shows of generous wealth. I totally agree with the idea that this won't effect Jimmy financially but I also think it's pretty probable it does emotionally, for better or worse. I think he's as human as the rest of people and having so many people call him out will harm his ego.
Will this make him change his videos/ways of interactions? No, probably not, lmao. I just think that we end up buying up into his brand even if uniintentionally. Mr Beast is too big to fall unless actual illegality was done. But Jimmy? He's just human. Hell, he could retire from the channel and live the rest of his life as a beach bum.
