To me, it says that abbreviated language reflects abbreviated thought.

Being proud of a skin color is so dumb. And what’s worse, if someone is proud of their whiteness, they get called racist. Of course not, they both stand to lose because his words still hold truths today, which is why the political system does not mention him. Malcolm X in 1963 though backing a questionable organization (NOI) with racist tendencies still proved his acumen and foresight into this terrible racial situation. After he left this organization and became independent he was prophetic and the only real man to lead the American people to recognize their issues and to offer solutions. @@erichawkins5738 The truth does not denigrate. Dr King hasn't been denigrated by uncovering his associations. Rather only his cause has been differentiated from Malcolm's. It is a question of what one values: Integration or separation. If the efficacy of one's cause cannot bear its own truth, does it remain valid? When Dr King realised his position was compromised, like Malcolm he embraced more legitimate concerns: at that point he was murdered. Nobody has made light of that tragedy. The greater tragedy is a body of African American society empowered to thwart the legitimate concerns of the wider African American populace..The Boule et al.. Such bodies have always been feathered and furthered by the semblance of white philanthropy. From encouragement of Black WW1 draftees, to opposition of anti-lynching laws, African Americans have been subverted by their leadership: opposing connections with broader diaspora liberation struggles& abetting genocidal programs such as Tuskegee,in exchange for their own self advancement. I never seen a man as so articulate as Malcom x .. He answered all the questions intelligently and most of all frankly..
Without a high school education
Self education. He was on it
Tyrone the Legendary TyRaNt Agreed. It’s also why balancing if not outright eliminating social media usage is important. If George Carlin was correct when he said that “the quality of our thoughts and ideas can only be as good as the quality of our language,” then what does it say about the state of public discourse when everyone uses abbreviated language in social media? To me, it says that abbreviated language reflects abbreviated thought.
In the student textbooks I read through school when I was younger, they always said Malcom was a "radicalist", I am a Sikh and have similar figures from my ppls history that were labeled the same, as to belittle them and their true purpose of freeing their people diminished.
He definitely knew the political system of the time and how it worked against his people.
It is STILL working against HIS people. Here in 2018.

@Ayeee J I think the Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith and books written by Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels (Namely the Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital). Both are good beginnings to modern political theory, from their you can find more books. Also learning what was happening in the world and to the authors at time these books were written is important to understanding the bigger picture.
Never tire of listening to Malcolm. He was razor sharp - never at a loss for a response.
The civil war gained an edge when they enlisted blacks to support and assist in any way necessary
❤CORRECT. He is a GLOBAL Teacher to us and a STUDENT of ELIJAH MUHAMMAD.
Let's us LEARN from BOTH.
Let's us AVOID PROPAGANDA and lies about BOTH.
Man, I love Malcolm X. He was so proud and unapologetic in his Blackness. I’m a Black student at Columbia and sometimes it’s overwhelming because it’s a P.W.I. I always go back and listen to Malcolm X’s, James Baldwin’s, and Dr. Martin Luther King’s speeches or interviews to remind me to be proud of my Blackness and keep striving for greatness like they did.
great
Being proud of a skin color is so dumb. And what’s worse, if someone is proud of their whiteness, they get called racist. Even though being proud of whiteness is just as dumb, what’s worse than being dumb is the double-standard of calling it “racist” when others do it but not when a black person does it. You NEED to be proud of being an American, or don’t be here.

I have never heard anyone speak so eloquently. This man was a master of his own intelligence....the way how he uses his words is absolutely greatness. He answered every question on point and direct and most importantly without showing any emotions .....impressive. I wonder how many black people back then could have articulate the way he did.
Where ya'll gonna get this land? You didn't have any problem getting land when you came over here, guy was smart and quit witted also poignant and truthful

Of course not, they both stand to lose because his words still hold truths today, which is why the political system does not mention him. I studied history and the one thing i understood well is that history is written by winners and not the losers of that time. Hence why Malcolm X is a winner during this time. TV ensured it!

Including himself. Malcolm X realized his own mistakes and flawed thinking and changed his ideals when he was found to be incorrect. He had intelligence and humility to gain true understanding that everyone is wrong sometimes.

If your talking about the autobiography of Malcolm X, then please don't waste your time. That book is a joke in the same way the book "ROOTS" was a joke. The book was nothing more than a government ploy to pass false information.
Malcolm knew the liberals were shady and playing the black people. He was way ahead of his time. True genius.

a lot of times people always suggest the worse ideas.... he believes in separatism and you.... you think he would... or we should... put him on a mountain with a bunch of white people who barely like blacks? lol if ur white, this is the stuff we black people get annoyed over, just stop and listen lol
@@anoncanon1100 I think it's a figure of speech an analogy
The mountain is originally named Four Grandfathers, as the original look of the mountain resembled four, well, men who were standing tall and protected what was a sacred burial ground for the local indigenous. A huge disrespect to take dynamite to that area and carve out four white men who have been nothing but terrorists to the indigenous.

Malcolm X, James Baldwin, H. Rap Brown, Medgar Evers, Muhummad Ali, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar come to mind but there are definitely many more and they all were assassinated, discredited or silenced.
Malcolm X in 1963 though backing a questionable organization (NOI) with racist tendencies still proved his acumen and foresight into this terrible racial situation. After he left this organization and became independent he was prophetic and the only real man to lead the American people to recognize their issues and to offer solutions. He was gunned down before his ideas could have come to fruition. Listening to Malcolm X brings him back to life in front of us. Then we realize he is no more. MLK was a Freemason.
As an admirer of both, you do not have to denigrate Dr. King to raise Malcolm. They both were phenomenal men who died fighting for black people, and in fact all people to be treated with equality and justice.
When Malcolm X shone light on this, the entire structure compromising African American liberation was exposed.
If you're afraid of the truth you don't deserve freedom..
