What about preaching ethnic Black superiority, separation/segregation of the Black race? Wasn't the whole point of the civil rights movement during the '60s was to bring Black people and White people together? Also, making sure Black people were protected and just as protected as White people were? Making sure they were treated no differently than any other person based on the color of their skin? How can promote racist principles and expect two people to come together? If you promote any ethnic nationalism, separation/segregation of any races, you're not helping the situation whatsoever. You are, however, making the situation ten times worse. You've also completely dismissed the anti-Semitism and anti-LGBTQ principles of the movement itself. They are people just like all of us. They are too fighting for justice for their own people just like the Black man, woman, and child was in the '60s and still is doing to this very day. It wasn't and isn't merely just Black people suffering, my friend. Other people are too, don't dismiss this.

@@Tusc9969 Except it's extremely well documented that Malcom dropped his black supremacist and pro segregation views after he left the nation of Islam group. He became much more pro integration and against unnecessary hatred of white people. You do understand that someone's views can change?

Looking back at this time period, it always amazed me how those in power (the government), would feel threatened anytime a black person talked/preached equality, decent human rights for black people. This country was and always will be racist to some degree. The main difference back then was you most certainly lost your life by speaking up for what you believed. There were just so many black people as well as white people who lost their lives for speaking up against racism.

Although I don't believe in hero worship because the hero that you worship might not be a hero at all. If Malcolm was still with us physically I believe that he would whole heartily attest to that fact. However if I did the one person that I would bestow that lofty distinction upon would have to be brother Malcolm X. Not taking anything away from brother Martin Luther King because he to was an honorable and courageous man, that stood up for us at the cost of his life. But my affinity for Malcolm stems from my being like him and him being like me. What I mean by this is that he spoke the same language as me and roamed similar streets and did similar things as me. And he is a prime example that it's not your surroundings that hold you down. Or the people that dwell in those surroundings it's you

This man seen the prophet Muhammad when was in jail when he prayed for his brother. I say this because it was written in his book that Malcolm X was one day praying for Islam to let his brother back into the nation of Islam. Malcolm X said he was praying so hard for his brother, that when he looked up, he seen a man that was neither black nor white and they just looked at one another then the man disappeared. Now when they made the movie of Malcolm X, they portrayed the characters as being ELIJAH Mohammed. But the book said something totally different. The book said that he seen a man that was neither black nor white and they looked at each others and then the man disappeared. But that only let you know you can't get the full story from a movie for some parts will lead you in a different direction. ³ Now according to the hadiths of the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of God be upon him)it's written if any one has seen a prophet,Mohammed or jesus whichever. They are blessed to be among those who are good men and they also will be the ones who enter jannah on the day of reckoning. May ALLAH bless him(ameen).

Thank you for bringing it up! I’ve read the book many times and I always wonder who appeared before him.. he himself said it was W.D Fard. I would love to have the chance to ask him why he think he got that vision but now reading your comment it made think about it and you may be absolutely right. Being that he believed in Islam with every bit of his pure soul it does really make sense.
And yes the movie totally misinterpreted that special moment.

For the black Americans who say they arent African, does it matter? You're a victim of a capitalist system. As such you should be willing to join with all other victims capitalism no matter what color or nationality,

As I hear all the complaints about the country. I myself seek out why things are so hard for me, and some who travel by seeking their way, by the power of what the country constitution was formed to do for us, not what a powerful human says, who is trying to change the course, of what which it stands for means.. Where I myself see the problem affecting the country, is from both sides fighting to be right, had blocked out the truth against those who see the disturbance in both groups, who do not want any part of what they are creating for the country. Who are put on the endangered list because they see the sensitive way of doing the right thing for the country. Which is, let the constitution lead, and the others follow, not dividing the strength until it becomes weak in ruling the rules of what the country has been trying to deliver, because the negative minds refuse to allow it to breathe. Had put the real potential on hold since the beginning of the country, from hateful ways, lies, and greed, kept the country going in the wrong direction. Where both negative groups with the rest of negative groups, get their support from one of the two, helping to keep things as they see fit for them. If one seeks out the true rules, by now it will create one of the greatest downfalls in the country, from all the illegal acts in the country had been going on against the real laws of the land. Where all groups speak about, but only the water down part, in what their supporter allow for them to represent.
