Phoebe Bridgers Does Cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Stolen Car” (June 13 // Asbury Park, NJ)

During her North American leg of the Reunion Tour. When you’re in the Boss’ territory, you gotta pay tribute to him. This is also Phoebe’s second cover of a Springsteen song while in Asbury Park, her first was “I’m On Fire” in 2018.

Bruce Springsteen is my favorite artist. As someone who's grown up with his music, living in New Jersey and being exposed to his voice through my dad, I've grown a deep connection to Bruce and his stories in his songs. Being at this Phoebe show in Asbury about a month ago was an amazing experience, and I was truly blown away by her rendition of Stolen Car, I started tearing up. Thank you Phoebe.
