Shalom Daniel, you have been teaching and explaining to us this beautiful language in different ways in class, through the house israeli family as well as you randemly ask people in the street to converse so that we, non-hebrew speaking people, could understand hebrew, get accustomed to the speed and to the sound of this beautiful language I am interested in. You work hard in a way that you are, first of all, preparing a hebrew teaching program, teaching, explaining and typing many hebrew lessons sheet with colored photos for emphasizing and clearing the lessons for us. Yes, you work hard for us for free lessons is much appreciated!
Thank you very much, Daniel! You lessons are really good and enjoyable! Also, I like your grammar explanations which are complementary to my study using Duolinguo
My Biblical Hebrew is progressing a lot faster. I guess it's the Torah study and the songs I sing from the siddur. Modern Hebrew progression for me is another story, but Baruch Hashem for these videos and toda raba.
I suggest using my videos, worksheets, answers, Memrise course, and facebook page. It is also recommended to practice as much as possible. Read, listen, write, and speak as much as possible!
facebook.com/LearnBasicHebrew. Please also look at the description under each video. You will find the links to the worksheet, answers, facebook page, and Memrise course!
Keep adding lessons aki :) very interesting and very useful your lessons are. כל הכבוד. Make sure to add verbs and conjugations in the next lessons as u did in this one. They help a lot. (my personal advice)
Hi! I love your clear, articulate explanations. I wonder about one thing: Are you exposing us beginners to dialogues at warp speed because that’s how real Israelis speak? I’m wondering about the best strategy for upping my Hebrew skills: 1. Listening as much as possible to fast “real” Hebrew and trying to gradually break it down, or 2. Sticking with slow dialogues till gaining confidence and using materials that gradually increase speed. Thanks for your thoughts. It is so hard to learn a language as an adult - meaning, to enter “inside” - compared to how it was when I was young!
Yes, because it is not the real Hebrew. You're wasting time, energy and money! Letter of Aristeas, Chapter 1:15-16 15. "'They need to be translated,' answered Demetrius, 'for in the country of the Jews they use a particular alphabet (just as the Egyptians, too, have a particular form of letters) and speak a particular dialect. 16. They are supposed to use the Syriac tongue, but this is not the case; their language is quite different.'" Modern Hebrew is not Hebrew. It's high time we woke up!
first time commenting on one of your vids. To be honest with you, are are one of the best hebrew teachers I've ever seen, i learned A LOT from you thank you very very much for taking so much time on doing this. one day i plan on visiting Israel, or maybe if its possible, to live there; I'm not sure. But for sure for sure, israel is in my Numero Uno list lol. But i also have a question, when i do the "Resh" sound, can i roll my "R" sound? or am i suppose to do the french, or germanic "R" sound way? i hope you see my comment. !תודה רבה מורה, מאמריקה ( i did the hebrew part without google translate this time. if you didn't understand what i said because of any mistake i did, please correct me haha) oh yeah and thankfully, i know how to do the "Chet" sound. To me, thats a beautiful signature sound of hebrew to be honest with you lol.
בוקר טוב. I dont understand in exercise 4, number 3, the word "האלה" and at number 4 (in the same exercise), the word with red letters. Thank you!!! LESSON 7
Mr. Ganor, Todah Rabah for your lessons. I get much pleasure and stress free learning from your teaching style. However, you just touched on HaZeh vs. HaZot, and I am still uncertain as to how to use these words in the proper context. Can you help clarify this?
Thank you very much! Hazeh - 'this' for male. Hazot - same meaning but for female. These words appear after the noun: Hayeled hazeh - this boy Hayalda hazot - this girl We have to use Ha (the) in these phrases.
While I enjoy your UA-cam lessons, the memrise courses on-line are not user friendly, especially for this adult learner who has trouble navigating most things having to do with computers. Just an FYI.

Concerning the strategies: I think you should choose what's best for you.

Thanks. Guess it’ll just take more trial and error then to figure that out... 🤷🏻♀️
תודה רבה
Why I feel suddenly the lesson becomes so difficult...Before I can follow now I have to pause again and again
This is absolutely normal 👍🏽😉
Thanks for sharing! The best tip I can give you is to go over the previous lessons and to learn the previous material very well.

@@MrLallyandeliz you mean that it is not ancient Hebrew, and you are right. Modern Hebrew is its own language.

בוקר טוב. I dont understand in exercise 4, number 3, the word "האלה" and at number 4 (in the same exercise), the word with red letters. Thank you!!! LESSON 7
האלה =these
הזאת - this for female singular
These lectures are good. A little difficulty comes from the fact English is not my mother's tongue
Thank you very much! What is your mother tongue?
