I started learning Hebrew a few months ago, and it surprised me a lot. It's way easier to learn than I thought it would be, and that makes it really rewarding. Especially now that I notice I understand most of what is said in this video. This motivates me to learn more, so that I'll be able to tackle 'Difficult Hebrew' one day ;)
Yes, the pronunciation makes it sound very different. But in fact there are many similar words. For example bait (house), ayn (eye), Matar (rain) and etc.

It is my favorite spot on earth, close to everything but feels like a moshav. I don't need to "do" stuff to love it-content to just "be." Should probably go more places but am pathologically addicted to my Gan Eden.
Just discovered Easy Hebrew after enjoying Easy German for weeks, and Easy Italian, Easy French, Easy Hungarian. I guess I'll have to do it alphabetically now : Easy Arabic, Easy Chinese, etc. - but life's too short to learn and master more than 4 or 5 of languages. Yalla, bye, hasta la vista, baby !

Просто развивается способность визуально ассоциировать корни слов с их значением..и их запоминать..😅 да, это возможно..😅Сам по себе язык не сложный, а наоборот, очень логичный, выразительный и очень красивый. @@AbilliphWhat do you mean? It's literally the same sound. French R is voiced uvular fricative (like Hebrew r) or voiceless uvular fricative (like Hebrew kh) depending on position. It's exactly the same.
@@mattiamele3015 not exactly.. the French R is the middle point between the Hebrew and German R KH. The French one, is more gurgly than the Hebrew R. The uvular R can be trilled, gurgled, or soft.. it can have more or less voice in it.. it's not as simple as in the basic IPA chart, and the French R is easily noticeable in Israel.

That's just the nature of modern hebrew. Up until about 100 years ago, nobody spoke it natively, and Israel is still largely an immigrant nation (I believe any jewish person in the world has an automatic right to israeli citizenship? Plus a lot of Russians have moved there since the fall of the soviet union), so a very large portion of the population is still made up of people who don't speak hebrew natively, which leads to a lot of interesting variation in accents and grammar. That's just part of speaking hebrew nowadays.
I'm unilingual English. HOW is this "Easy Hebrew"?! It doesn't tell us anything about the language or tell us what the words mean. All we have is a translation at the bottom of the screen .
How is it fair that people who live within 1 km of the water can go to the beach and people who live further away cannot during the seger?
