First, this should have many more views.
Second, I’ve watched hundreds of these performances over the last 3 years and I know for a fact that SOR All Star and House Bands can cover songs that are technically more challenging than “Love Shack” but for this group to so effectively capture the “vibe” of an iconic party tune is even more of an accomplishment! This is the kind of song that even good bands get embarrassed by - but not these guys. The singers grab your attention (which is right because they do a wonderful job with a song that walks the line between cheesy and kitschy - most would wrongly choose cheese but these talented teens know the payoff is with kitsch) but the instrumentation is really strong. Horns, guitars, bass, keys - terrific! Congratulations!
