What I never understood is why people don’t watch the whole tutorial before following along. Watch the video once through and then watch again as you follow along
@@theupwardspiral1580 I can only do recipes by triple checking the ingredients AND rechecking all the steps as I’m doing them. Cooking is very stressful for me 😂
I don’t know why, but I think curtain bangs, specially on the second girl, Kaysha, just make her hair and style look so much more high-end. As Brad said, it just compliments her face soooo much
TINA YONG!!! I love her!!! She is an amazing make up artist and nail artist. She has her own make up palettes, accessories brand, and eyelash range. I remember watching her hair cut video when she released it. So excited to see it in one of your videos. 💖💖
Dear Brad, my sister cut my curtain bangs and It was such a success that i decided to cut actually full bangs. Again, sucess! My sister did exactly what you said and now i'm in love with my new look. Love from Brazil ❤️
Brad Mondo, "lets see if they can follow my directions" Me, who has already cut her jagged bangs without realizing Brad Mondo made a video about how to do it right: *God damn it...*
It was especially hard to follow his hair length cutting video. My back ended up being shorter than my front and top sections because I couldn't reach further
2nd girl looks so damn good!!! She did a phenomenal job. I always have to remind myself that initial thoughts are influenced by shock. I always end up loving the change after I’ve gotten used to it and styled it the way I want.
Haha very true. Washing them in the sink and blowdrying them before going somewhere, and your friends are like, you do this EVERY day?? Yes. This is not a hairstyle. This is a lifestyle.
Huh, I had straight across bangs that are now grown out into I guess sorta like curtain bangs. I never really style my hair and never styled my bangs either. They looked fine, granted not as good as other people's, but still fine
@@eviebradney2068 i think it depends on what type of hair you have lol. mine is very wavy and unruly and if i don’t blow dry my bangs and style the rest of my hair it looks like a mess

So I didn't film mine but I followed your tutorial and it actually looked 100% like how yours did. But I immediately hated it on my face!! And weirdly also thought my bangs would be longer even though I was aware of how short they were going to be based on watching the tutorial lol. Makes no sense. But anywho I have been growing them back out since then, styling my bangs as though they don't exist 🤣 and will recut following a similar technique but way longer to better suit my face lol
Brad, you don't need a disclaimer to watch the whole video. If someone is going to cut their hair after watching only part fo a video that is on them; they need to make smarter decisions.
Brad gets so happy when they do it right and it erks me when they aren’t fully satisfied with the results and then in others they screw it up completely and are unphased while brads sitting here like “did i not teach you anything”

I watched your Hairdressers Guide to Cutting Your Own Hair And Not Ruining It about a half-dozen times before I attempted it on my own hair. It came out so nicely that I did it again about 6 months later. Then, about a month ago, I needed a change, so I tried your Hairdressers Guide to Cutting A Shag/Layers And Not Ruining Your Hair and OMG, it came out amazing! Totally love it!!! Thanks so much for the tutorials! You do a FANTASTIC job at walking us through each step!
I got my curtain bangs cut by a professionel once and did it like ever since but today i just wanted to take a risk and did it like you did. At first i was shocked how much hair one loses when blending in the fringe especially since i have the longest Hair i ever had at the moment. But honestly it looks so much more gorgeous with your technique.
Brad lovely, I've tried 3 of your tutorials... tbh I've fully enjoyed cutting my own hair during these times. I used your original 'cutting your own hair' tutorial + the curtain bangs tutorial (IN FULL), it has been my favourite cut I've had in my life to date. It suits me so well. Thank you for your constant inspiration and eagerness to teach your viewers that you can do it yourself IF you take the right steps. Sending love. 🌻
I followed your tutorial and I loved it!! The last part of the blending is kind of tricky, but I think Brad explains it great. I should've filmed it! Hahahaha
Did this yesterday and I absolutely love it.. I recently ceratin- straightened my hair, so it looked bad before washing, but after that.. Amazing... I kept it a little longer so I can tuck it behind my ears and it works absolutely great for me.

Brad, your tutorials are the best! I cut my mother's hair following your tutorial and it turned out really good. You make it so simple and easy to understand.
This is a dated style now a trend I suppose. In the 1970's they were called wings or feathered bangs. The 1960's did it better when they actually blended in with the given hairstyle. Girls wound up having them for one month and then spending six months to a year growing them out.
Right?? I’m like curtain bangs? They are just feathered bangs/wings like you said that were popular in the 70’s for women. But everything does go in circles so it makes sense that it’s coming back as new again. The same goes for clothing. Vintage looking clothing is coming back as well.

This video I followed up with after the original video.
