Could be unlikely for Tommy to come back and the fact that Ray Liotta is no longer here with us. Unless Rockstar finds a sound alike or some type of technology for the character but I’d agree 6 should have it’s own story and not a continuation of 5. But it’ll be cool to reference 5 a tad bit.
I think they will be referenced but Trevor is a big fan favorite... I gotta feeling he will be in the game. Plus, the guy who voice acts him is still very actively working in entertainment industry.

It would ruin the story if they added them, making it a continuation of gtav rather than its own game. Maybe online tho
