Great video. Nice pike. We will be headed up to Ely to try for some of those in the spring. I finally had some luck down at Willow Beach! Caught 13.5 and 15.5 stripers. Going back tomorrow!
Hey josh, glad to here that bud. keep at it!
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Great video, it is exciting to see what all the new fishing spots have to offer. Your PB list seems to be upgrading all the time, enjoy! 🏞🎣💙
Thnaks, cooler water can sustain bigger fish, lets hope there is always room for improvement.
Boy Vernon I’m really starting to get jealous, the beautiful scenery the trees the grass the water. It is a beautiful change compared to Arizona and Nevada the desert. I guess it’s just whose eyes are looking at it. Glad you and your wife are doing good and will see you on the next video.
Thanks Ralph, it might look green now, but soon that will all be white.
@@FinallyFishing A lot Wider and a whole lot colder. I’ll bet you’ll miss that warm.
Lovely area and nice calm water. Quite a verity of fish in a smallish area. Well done.
Thanks Joe, the gut next to us got a good cannel cat too.
4 fish, 4 species! Nice! With the toothy fish around here, I have typically used a metal leader with swivel. Also makes it easier to switch hooks and lures. Don't know if you have tried that? Freeze up is coming fast, I'm looking forward to seeing do some ice fishing in the coming months!
I have indeed, but we typically use them for ocean fishing. I am a bit worried about wire leaders being visible to the fish? I will at some stage gear up and be better prepared, rather using braid and stronger line, I am just waiting to buy some time for my shipped goods to arrive. Lots, of testing and fishing to come to figure out what works best.
Great video 📹 with a beautiful nature backdrop even with the clouds👍. Love the colours of the yellow Perch 🐠 and the little Bullhead. Glad you can still explore 👍a little and catch and catch some 🐟.
Thanks Susan, loads more to explore.
Nice video but are there any snags here?
Thanks, snags will often come and go according to water level. But I have not lost many things out there at Barriere. Use smaller weights and you should not have any troubles.
@@FinallyFishing ok thanks
JEALOUS AS WELL, HAPPY FOR VERN.
Thanks Randy, but these are the easier fish to get. Expect some different fish next summer.
A quick question, what made you go from South America to Vegas and now Canada?
Hey Fredric, I from South Africa, not America. But to answer your question, the wife's work.
@@FinallyFishing Correct , yes I misspoke, South Africa.
