Here's the deal...he is one of THE BEST guitarist of ALL time. Modern guitarists doesn't know what a harmony is, and could much less time them and mix them this well...and LIVE! He never showed off his speed unless it was necessary and sounded better..and believe me...there is some intense speed there. He IS the best guitarist alive and no guy from Metallica could EVER replicate this. Speed alone does not make a good solo...and this is an impecable solo.

I'm a 38 year fan of Queen (which means I'm a bit old)! There is NO better guitarist than that man...Dr. Brian May!! I also think he built that guitar...incredable!! He is really a genius..read some of his books..and he was a ROCK STAR!! Cool!
First, Brian May is cool af. At 4:54 he just hops down the steps whilst throwing out riffs like it's nothing to keep the whole of Wembley Stadium encapsulated. Second, this guy is a fckin astrophysicist. And he's a nice person and a wildlife advocate. I'm offended by this man's talent LOL
Beck is outstanding... there are loads of great players, but i just love the way brian may is my faverouite, the way he puts his solos together is just genious!
Oh yeah and lets not forget. This was written in the 70's. Brian may has influenced a lot of musicians since then. And he is the reason why we have so many "half decent" guitarist around today. There would be no G'n'R if it weren't for Queen, there would be no Nirvana or Foo Fighters if it weren't for queen, etc.
What ever he tries to do with his guitar ... he's not only playing ... it's like he was trying to share his passion of guitar with us ... a true legend !
