- How millions of tons scrap metal recycle and convert into high quality iron rods
#scrapmetalrecycling #metalworking #recycling
In this video we show you how to recycle scrap metal in old factory this is very hard job for workers
In this factory manufacturing high quality iron rods from scrap metal
Thanks for watching this video don’t forget like and subscribe our channel
Thank you
Notice how the scrap is carefully graded to produce the finest alloys.
Love the safety sandals and wonderful smoky aroma
you can spot the foreman, he had trainers on. ;o)
The mix of different metals going to the furnace equals crap steel
To be fair, this is just iron rebar and not steel rebar.
Given that this will probably be used domestically and that the concrete they are using it in will likely be salt contaminated sand and gravels, the contaminates in the iron will probably help it last longer.
Complex alloy!
And what they had in the first place was probably crap too. What kind of amalgam would this be?!!
"high quality" iron rods
Think of the salary these guys are earning
I like the Safety Shoes! Safety Flip Flop😅
These workers will never get stinky feet 😂😊
"High quality iron" I don't think thats high quality maybe good enough for pans or garden ornaments but i wouldnt trust it to build a skyscraper 😂
Но это всяко лучше чем китайский металл
In Pakistani standard it is high quality i think.
Lets hope nobody uses Iron for that ;)
Yellow paint on the end of rebar indicates that the rebar is grade 40. The color of the paint on the end of rebar can also indicate whether the rebar can be welded. If both ends of the rebar are the same color, it cannot be welded. If one end is red and the other end is a different color, the rebar can be welded. In addition to yellow, other colors that might be used include white and green, which indicate grades 33 and 60, respectively.
By the looks of it nobody bothers to take samples to check the chemical composition of the resulting material and thus its mechanical properties remain a mystery forever. There also seem to be no tests being done to ensure the mechanical properties are up to par. While the end product appears to be of good quality, it may or may not be suitable for its intended purpose. But for all we know, that part of the process may simply not have been shown. There are certainly many things that have much potential for improvement, mainly worker safety, this is still one of the cleanest and more efficient processes compared to many that I have seen in similar videos.
This is a health and safety nightmare.
And they are worried about cow farts.
Pakistan produces 1% of all greenhouse gases. Even with this my guess is the Methane put of by the sh!t ponds must be really bad
そして彼らは牛のおならに恋しています。
@@上田勝-q3q jealous people better than Chinese no manner and greedy keep grabbing other territory what a disgusting people
And paper straws
@@NoneyaTexasontheback20 jealous people are disgusting
So this where they'll source the rebar to build the new Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
Thanks for saving our planet 🥰
High Quality Iron made out of random Metal Scraps, Wood, Plastics and Fabrics.
You and I have a very different Definition of High Quality.
The moment the guy throws in the bag of Borax in? That's the "high quality" moment :)
Compared to other videos, this really has some quality. They use pieces of sorted steel according to the approximate chemical composition, they have an electric induction oven. The casting pot was not cleaned of slag from the previous casting. They make a kind of continuous casting and laminate the semi-finished products up to 10-20mm diameter, the quality is OK for their uses.
Nothing toxic about that process….😮😮
In Europe, they limit production, impose CO2 fees where emissions are 10 percent of what they are in the film.
Which means the jobs go to places like this with less draconian climate regulations, and our steelworkers lose thier jobs and end up living on the street injecting smack and drinking cider.
Europe is just moving their pollution problem to these south asian countries instead.
Doing their best to contribute to the air quality!
Siempre me sorprendes con la calidad de tus videos, ¡excelente trabajo!
High quality and to be used in their space program
The thermo lance to start the downward flow of metal from the ladle was a bit unexpected.
high quality? maybe. iron? also maybe. rod? yeah!
Ah the old rake, wheelbarrow and tipping scrap in 2ft from a yellow hot furnace technique.
Hurry, I need my Pittsburgh adjustable wrench 🔧
Yeey to us, saving the environment with our cardboard straws.
A nice clean process ???
The only person with eye brows is the boss.
He with the biggest eyebrows wins boss. 😂
LOL!
True.
And i bet, he has a hooked nose too.
would be very helpful if they had a giant shredding machine, this way they would be able to put more stuff inside the forge
The death rate in factory accidents must be horrendous
Evidence ?
@@tonywright8294 Obvious
Remember ,people are expendable 😢😢😢
i believe those fool dont work here. everyone will be mad if you look stupid while working
You are underestimating the resilience of these guys.
Excellent video, very enjoyable, thank you.
Thank you for your fantastic Channels
I ❤❤❤❤❤ Your Video
OSHA has left the building
“High quality iron rods….with the occasional toe in it”
LOL.
that's just a bit of added carbon
This is why Asia is no 1 in air pollution.
Work health and safety obviously the highest priority at this factory.
Hey boss ,could we buy just one big magnet
Everything about that recycling process is very dangerous 💯 stay safe 💯
I think we have different definitions of what qualifies as “high quality”.
The zinc, tin, plastic and rubber should help make strong steel bars. I see chrome also. They are going to use most of the sheetmetal in the yard just to get a start on making the bars. Alot of the sheetmetal will burn away from the heat.
Jesus christ, they have a solid lungs and superb breathing jutso...they can work normally without mask like its just normal, i can barely breath while cooking using fire woods if the smoke kicks in😂😂
CHEERS from AUSTRALIA
The toxic smoke burning off all that painted metal
High Quality, eh?
I do not think that means what you think it means.
Inconceivable!
Nice healthy working environment!
Imagine if one of the wheel-barrow guys tripped when emptying their barrow... head first into the fire.
There safety equipment would save them
prnothall9302. Yes! That's where the name "Alloy" came from. Indian guy who fell in molten metal.
That's just extra carbon for the high-quality steel.
в этой арматуре, как и во многих других производимых ими вещах есть % пакистанцев
Population of 1.5 billion, some guy off the street would just tag in and pick up the wheelbarrow.
Oh yea...nothing says safety like open toes sandals and molten hot iron
The ones that do have shoes on have no laces in them!
The thought occurs that all the crap we spend our hard earned on ends up in places like this.
особенно ваши $. все идут индусам. именно благодаря СШП они вынуждены так жить
This must drive those climate nuts crazy!
Muito bom
Selected raw material and high technology in production..
I wonder how many wheelbarrows have been lost to the furnace?
"High Quality" in the title. Nope
Try operating like this in North America.
And I'm must drink with paper straw
🤣🤣🤣
1 ton is a 1000kg
“Millions of tons” are too much for such a tiny place.
MarceloAlmeida1. There are many false claims just in the title alone
1000kg is actually called a 'Tonne' but as 'merikkkans have the IQ of a meringue they call it a 'Metric Ton '
Great work
At least they're wearing fire-proof sandals!
Nice open toe shoes working in a metal scrapyard. Surprised they have gloves
They still havent invented metallurgy there.
I was wondering what kind of nightmare alloy they ended up with... 🤣
Those safety glasses protect a lot, and the cloth coveralls? Nice helmet, oh, nevermind.
Derogatory comments aside, as an American, it is simply refreshing to see young men working, instead of selling drugs and robbing liquor stores.
“robbing liquor stores” You do realize this is Pakistan, it's a Muslim country so not a great multitude of liquor stores!
2:21 Правильно. И тачку туда 😅
😂😂😂
The men in this video should be getting paid the big bucks. Everything they are doing is from extremely manual labor all day everyday non stop. We here in the United States have become spoiled.
Good quality steel . pmsl.. ingredients, crap metal, body parts , sandals, lungs ,hair , all for a good price,10 dollar the lot my friend
And to think sometimes I thought being a firefighter wearing at times as much as $ 1,800 dollars of protective gear was dangerous
Would you like to try dumping metal in that furnace with sandals on?
They must save a lot of time in the morning by wearing their PJ’s to work.
Ho can it be high quality steel reinforced rebar when the metal is a mix of metals like tin aluminum cast iron and so on
all that metal is separated by electric magnets so not to mix any alloys and just keep the iron
@@drofmah3836 Steel, not iron. But still, all types of steel are mixed together. No sample testing ever. So, no high quality steel here.
Some Black Allah Magic and *poof* "High Quality"
Mad Max world
A bunch of guys on flip flops walking around a hole on the flor that contains liquid metal at 2000⁰C, what could go wrong?
Metal falling on their heads. . . 🤣🤣🤣
No pollution here ... Nothing but high Tec systems and flip flops
You guys need wheel barrels with two front wheels more stable and other places they use the slag for cement 😊
So much for health and safety
Needs to get these guys a scrap shredder...
that costs money. and money equals profit - - -
where is the factory and what is the company name
Never heard of rebar being referred to as "high quality iron".
What does the datasheet say for "Alloy"?
It's quality rob roll ?
boy could I add a dust suppression system to that...
The factory owner should build the workers a conveyor belt to load the furnace.
Then they would have to feed a donkey to power it! Cost ineffective!
Гвозди бы делать из этих людей! ❤
To the geniuses commenting about the quality of the steel, the rods are called rebar and they reinforce concrete. All such facilities, there and in the USA as well use the exact same process, the first step is the melting of the scrap steel and iron, the next stage is refining in which impurities are burned off.
Technology and health and safety from the 19th
I think this is in Pakistan
Ecolgy, FUCK YEAH!!!!
На выходе сталь марки ХЗЧЗС.
😂😂😂 они потом от балды напишут что-нибудь. А мы будем на наждаке по искре определять.
All that black smoke
Так это вторая часть видео. В первой показано как разбирают статоры и роторы от электродвигателей и выплавляют алюминий.
For certain very specific values of "high quality".
Let's jus dump it there and see what happens. Hahaha
Sir, finest quality, we aren't sure if its Iron or Steel, pretty sure there is some plastic in there as well, who cares once its melted its all the same... right. Its not low quality its "Diverse"
Factory address??
А сколько им платят зарплату за такую работу???
1:25 and this thing is just spewing hot pieces of molten metal and these guys just run into it for a load drop with no protective gear. they gotta be getting burned for sure.
Well, now I see why the air in that city is so polluted.
2:25 I thought the wheelbarrow was going in.
They would rescue the wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow operators are replaceable. 😂
Well now we know how Boeing got their poor aluminum and titanium 😂
no hydrostatic particulate filters here.......😂
تدمير لطبقة الاوزون
يجب تركيب فلاتر.
I bet very few workers make to 50 years old!
1:06 how safe. Wonder how many peasant workers have slipped and had their leg burnt off.
