All these negative comments! As an American, it is refreshing to see able-bodied young men actually working and making useful things, instead of robbing stores, selling drugs, and applying for government benefits.

You can't make PVC pipe from car bumper skins. There is no PVC in them. You can probably make pipe, but it's not PVC - and without careful sorting you won't even know what kind of plastic it is.
Different plastic compounds are used by various manufacturers; ABS, polypropylene, polyethylene, etc.
None of them are PVC and you can't convert one into the other.

End product shown is either LDPE or HDPE pipe. Pellets that were used for production likely have nothing to do with recycling shown in beginning. Looking on them quite likely they were made of virgin material, not recycled junk,

Nicely run shop. Those gas cylinders could be fed by solar generated hydrogen, instead of natural gas. Wondering about the pollution generated at the post-grind heating step. Apparently that step is intended to burn off paint & grease, and that could be replaced through a closed loop aqueous wash step.

Everyone always marvels at their ingenuity making new items but they forget these guys aren’t chemists. They’re mixing different plastics and turning out water piping. Think of all the unsafe for human chemicals put in bumpers.
Another is the metal scrapping they have no idea about. Churning out Afghan pressure cookers in small shops but the aluminum has 900 times the amount of lead allowed.
    Yea, great stuff.

The usage of PVC is being abandoned since years.Because of the recycling difficulties and high cost. All bumpers are being made, for years, from PPR which is recyclable. Strong and very useful pipes are being made from PPRC.(Polypropylene Random Copolymer). So,it’s very opportune to recycle old bumpers in the production of PPRC Pipes.. But watching this video is heartbreaking 😢because of the very hard and unsafe working conditions in which these poor guys are working.😩
