pretty good trade deadline but other dodger fans are saying “we could’ve used another starter”, i feel like with this rotation it will come together eventually and we seen now what lynn could be and that is eat up innings and strikeout dudes so with that first start prior and guinness are tweaking the things so guys don’t hit ding dongs so often off him, kershaw will be that guy we can rely on so i have no worries about him to be honest, urias has shown some light with his blue jays start and now a’s start where he’s thrown very good games so lets hope he can be our uriace again, with tony i hope he turns it around and just steps up because if not he won’t be that guy we can rely on in the postseason especially with his postseason stats, as for miller he can be that guy but its just being consistent and its not all about the hard 101 MPH stuff but finding the right sequence and pitch locations, grove and sheehan will obviously now be in that bullpen now with kershaw and butane coming earlier than expected, butane is throwing a bullpen on saturday and hopefully all goes well because he is the guy we need and im pretty sure he was a factor in the trade deadline because if he comes back early you don’t need another starter but just getting him to come back before the postseason so i’m hoping we get him back, lastly yarbourgh is a guy who can be really good and if the dodgers go after a guy and if the rays had them then thats a really good sign and he’s been in the postseason especially that 2020 world series so he’s been there so lets hope we can tap into the kid. kiké and rosario are good adds especially kiké because we need more vibes because thats how you win games and get good chemistry with guys so really good signings to a team who’s hitting the ball really good, right now it’s just the starting rotation clicking into place and guys needing to step up so i like this trade deadline heading into the 2nd half so im pumped 😎!!!!!
Yeah I think more than anything it's good that they added some arms. Pepiot is coming back soon and Buehler should be able to show up eventually even if he can't pitch more than a couple innings at a time. It also looks like they want to use Grove and Sheehan in the bullpen which could be smart if done well. Yarbrough and Lynn both bring much needed reinforcement to the rotation. We'll see what roles guys like Grove, Sheehan, Yarbrough, and Lynn fit into as we reach the end of the regular season. I'm pretty satisfied with the deadline overall!
