Let me say something. I am 24 years old and my father still use to beat my mother for silly things. He does not give money, he does not spend money, he uses violence, he accuses my mother of chastity and much more. 2 days ago, even after warning him to never hit my nother he still slapped my mother 3 times and she fell on floor. I lost my temper and I hit him hard. I am controlling myself and I am not feeling guilty at all. He has crossed every border and let me tell you guys. I am a practicing muslim, pursuing ba in islamic studies, have beard, pray 5 times and everything but I cant stand up this abuse no matter what.
Tw3ist I hope he will never hit my mother after this incident, at least in front of me. The best thing is I work from home and I am always with my mother. And dawah? Yes, its an obligation but he is that kind of a person who use to find verses from Quran which says beat your wife. He reads the translation daily, doesnt know any rules or context and doesnt want to accept any advice. He is a mad bully but yes he is scared of me now because he saw that I dont have any tolerance for abuse but he is so shameless that he goes to so and so person whom he doesnt even know to defame me and my mother. He calls my imam and other scholars to tell lies and brings everything to them what happens in the house. He even brings the household monthly expense in front of people to humiliate us that he spends on food and electricity. Wallahi, nobody comes to our home for that reason. Everybody abuses him at his back. If Allah would not have given me a job at home, life would be very tough. Even when he was able to provide sufficiently for 3 persons, I sometimes sold old newspapers to get some money for my basic expense. He never let us to eat properly. I never remember even a single time in my life eating at a cheap restaurant when all my friends were eating with their family and the fact was that my father was senior to their fathers in the air force. Earning his pension, doing job in private company right now but yet not able to provide for basic needs properly.

I'm very pleased this video or lecture was made because many men think they know what the Quran or Hadith's says but they don't. They think they can abuse women and that they're higher in statues then women. They heard a little word or sentence and they think they know everything. But the Quran and Hadith have meanings deep in them. They need time to read and understand. They act like kings and boss women around while they sit on their butts all day. They simply believe women are supposed to do everything, like we're their slaves. And some women deal with it because people around tell her to treat her husband good. They expect her to stay with the abuser. Somehow it finds its way to point the fault on women. Not all men are like this and they are they most loved by Allah. I'll raise my son well.

For the only reason that even parents do not listen such things and do not support their daughters rather they will force them to rejoin the family due to fear of Society and families.
