Love this we need more props! Talking having fun. Why does everything have to be so serious all the time. Loved it! First interview where they translate the Japanese question for us all to hear.
petrolhead1960 I loved watching the fat slob trying to chase down the South African winger in the World Cup final. Perhaps less comedy and more serious hard work in the future?
I just read that, clive woodward sat at the back of the room with his head in his hands, he knew then that we would lose the world cup final, as the focus wasnt there.
Joe Marler should sit in on each press conference... whether England play or not.... Looks like he would rather give you a backhand than speak to you... but when he opens his mouth he is absolutely hilarious...
I can't believe I'm seeing a British Marler. My dad's family are Marlers. They travelled to the US in 1749 from Norfolk. Joe Marler looks like a typical Marler, big and brawny, although taller. He's also as funny as the American Marlers. Love him!
When all sport are churning out the same boring rhetoric in press conferences and taking themselves far too seriously, this is one hell of a refreshing change!! I can just imagine Eddie loving both Joe and Dan, just his humour . I love rugby and this is how we should engage, press on the back foot whilst being royally owned haha
Seriously, where appropriate, English subtitles? Sorry, but this is a lovely AUTHENTIC few minutes. Let’s hope that for further ‘conferences’ everyone production-wise would have learnt lessons?
Joe Marler is one seriously genuine and naturally funny man and as a fiercely heterosexual Welshman I don't think it's out of order to say that I really like this guy. God knows that we need the Joe Marler's of this world right now in 2020 to put the smiles back on our faces and not the frowns from the likes of the dour Alyn Wyn Jones or Warren Gatland.
This is the reality of English conversation ability and the inability to ask appropriate questions amongst the Japanese. Japanese students study English everyday for 1 hour a day for 6-8 years. Plus extra tuition after school. The method with which it is taught plus other eerie factors result in less than 10% of the population being able to converse at an intermediate level. As for the inane questions asked, journalists in Japan are not accustomed to rugby and lack the resources and initiative to do any background research. The awkward silences derive from a clash of cultural norms. Japanese interviews and conversations are scripted and stay on course to avoid any mishaps or cause of offence. Whereas most western countries will allow free flowing conversation to be spontaneous and even humorous. If you could remove yourself as far as possible from what is considered normal you would find yourself in Japan.
I've got bit of cauliflower ear from playing rugby when I was younger, it really hurts in the cold weather, Joe must want to rip his ears off at times!
They didn't design those earpieces for cauliflower ear :')
Or corrifrower ear.
@@darthmong7196 winner.

This is quality. Love how no one gets British humour
im british and I don't get how acting stupid is funny.
@@Tricky850 clearly fun at parties mate

@Richard Hadfield - And what a shame that a lot of British people don't get your immense talent... :(
@@Tricky850 awk lighten up man
100% Joe is going to say something they take the wrong way and offend the whole of Japan 😄
Joe's going to say something which should offend all of Japan, but they'll absolutely love it and he'll end up coaching the national squad.
AMEN
I like those odds. If I were a national attack coach I might have a sneaky punt.
you cant be mad at joe....even haskell has calmed down after the incident
Johnny R spinning out at journalists in the public baths not following custom and wearing trunks.
Joe kept saying in Japanese ‘how are you?’ That was hilarious 😂
orangekoharu LoL I laughed so hard
Dan Cole has the basic appearance and voice to work on being a successful Ross Kemp tribute act.
Love this we need more props! Talking having fun. Why does everything have to be so serious all the time. Loved it! First interview where they translate the Japanese question for us all to hear.

Media luvvie Haskell 😴

Did Marler say 'Cappucino'?! haha class.
Dan and Joe should do all the press conferences from now on. Two cappucino`s....comedy gold!
This is the funniest interview I've seen in a while.
This is without doubt the very best RWC interview I have seen during the tournament. It's absolutely brilliant.

petrolhead1960 I loved watching the fat slob trying to chase down the South African winger in the World Cup final. Perhaps less comedy and more serious hard work in the future?
Obviously Joe is an absolute legend but don't underestimate the role of the Coley as the straight man.
You know the management is fucking with the media if they send two props to an interview, brilliant!!!

Bloke’s hilarious, ‘cappuccino’.
Seriously, what the heck was Eddie doing putting these two clowns up in front of the press! lol Bloody hell!
But we love it
why not?! its real and rugby! good shit!!
Joe marler is the embodiment of rugby and the culture in one man. It shows that in rugby, if you can't laugh then you just don't get it.
He reminds me of David Brent!
I just read that, clive woodward sat at the back of the room with his head in his hands, he knew then that we would lose the world cup final, as the focus wasnt there.
That’s pure entertainment to me. I haven’t laughed so hard for some time!
got some prop IQ going on.....I take that back, more front row humour and deadpan English.
dulls what you mean
One of the best interviews ever...
These lads are gas out. Great interview
Close your eyes and Dan Cole sounds more like Harry Potter than an international unit.
David Bouckley I agree .
Good luck in the cup
Wtf. No he doesn't
Haha brilliant .!!
@@MyaYA0114 Alright, have you tried opening your eyes and listening to him then?
@@bouckley9 yeah bro and I'm trying to see your point but I do not hear harry potter. I see the unit.
Couple of legends. Loved that ha ha
Hilarious... best spontaneous humour show I’ve seen on UA-cam for a long time!
I love Marler just mugging off the press! Brilliant!
"what's this voice in my ear?"
"No that's in your head Joe." 😂😂
this should be viral
Front row gold!! The pair of them.
I think Dan Cole is blushing!
Joe's first answer - flashes of Nigel from Spinal Tap ?
What a total train wreck, so funny.
That was so bad it was effing hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joe Marler should sit in on each press conference... whether England play or not.... Looks like he would rather give you a backhand than speak to you... but when he opens his mouth he is absolutely hilarious...
Highlight of the World Cup. Don't need to wake up early to watch anything else now, thanks lads.
2:30 My eyes are up here, Michael.
By the state of their ears, I surprised they heard anything!
Marler's looks slay all comers ... incredible Joe des
Joe Marler seems like a likeable bloke. As a South African I'd never thought I'd say that about an England prop. Cappucino hahah :)
Don't worry, I've never met a nice South African.
Dazza S what do you have against South Africans?
I'm three minutes in and it's been an absoulte shambles so far, brilliant
Give Dan and Joe a podcast show now!!!! Hilarious
Never really use to like him but the guy is so funny how can i not
Facial sarcasm of the highest order
I love him, you don’t know if he’s ever serious
He’s like David Brent. Actually sounds like him too! 🤣
Haha, he is! 😂

Eddie Jones tactics. In reality England always lead with their rocket scientists 😀
Joe is sooooooo comical, priceless entertainment every time in front of a camera!!!@@@
Joe Marler is my hero
It is all a bit farcical, however I think the Japanese will probably appreciate it and find it pretty funny.
Oliver Hallsworth-Baines I’m Japanese and I found this is really funny!! 😂😂😂 We love Joe sans sense of humour🥰
Awesome!!
Seriously, where appropriate, English subtitles? Sorry, but this is a lovely AUTHENTIC few minutes. Let’s hope that for further ‘conferences’ everyone production-wise would have learnt lessons?
Joe your my kings of comedy lol
😂😂😂😂😂 joe’s look is priceless
Funniest man in world rugby - Joe Marler
Oh my freaking dude 😂😭
I echo other peoples comments, these two need to be given their own show! Hilarious
They are a superb double act !
Funny dudes. Cole on moores podcast was good
both hilarious and painful to watch at the same time
You can tell the press officer wants it over with as soon as possible🤣

There's something of Ricky Gervais in Joe's delivery :)
Whenever you feel down just watch this video😂😂😂
Is Dan Cole dubbed or does he really sound like that? Love the humour does not travel well comment.

I think that went well. Mr D Brent.
8:55 what is that?
Watched more than 100 times still counting
Joe is such a funny dude! Typical prop! He reminds me of Alan from the hangover.
That poor press officer! This is hilarious but I genuinely feel sorry for her!
Joe walked in and chose to fuck around
"Cappucino" 😂😂
What the hell did he actually say, damm this is so funniest
"Thank you very much, How are you? Hello, Goodbye"
Is it me or the English player to the right of Joe sounds like captain Rex from the clone wars ?
For someone that really doesn't say much, Dan just speaks fast. Its weird.
Hilarious, this is a comedy show in the making.
This is Joe being Joe 😂😂😂😂
Why I found out now about this interview 😅😅😅😅😅😅
素晴らしい
Joe marler is clearly David Brent
Top mong props there
