  • On July 10th, 2023 in my home state of Vermont, we received rainfalls that are generally only projected once every 100 years (over 8 inches in some areas). The subsequent days added inches of rainfall to already saturated soil. This series of events caused some of the worst flooding Vermont has seen in recent history. Exceeding that of tropical storm Irene in 2011. This is just a small portion of the footage.

This flooding has devastated most of the state, including the capital city of Montpelier. I am very fortunate that our house was not impacted, but I know maybe friends and neighbors not so fortunate.
We will get through this together with the help of our community. #vermontstrong
The photos were compiled from brave Vermonters and volunteers impacted by these floods that were posted to a public forum. If anyone that took these photos would like photo credit, please reach out and let me know. You can message me on my Facebook page at www.facebook.c...

This is heart breaking as I lost a lot and can't even get assistance. Disabled homeless living in a q6 foot box truxk and lost everything in it. Vermont needs to get their act together and help vermonters and not people feom out of state runing up here saying they were effected.
