    Thanks Sketchy I just started learning c4d and octane recently. This was a great tutorial.

    If the gradient isn't working: turn on the colour on the Random Field (the 3 circles) Plain > Fall Off, click on the Random Field circles.

    I love it ! I's really great but how could I do the color in the end without Octane and only with Xpresso ?

    It was very helpful video, but the wide resolution makes me really hard to recognize c4d interface.

    helpful, but I found it difficult to see what you were doing because of the resolution. Everything is tiny on my 1080p monitor. cheers

    Why not just use a random field with a looping noise? Was that option not available when this Tutorial was put up?

    How can I put a material on it, say like a logo, for like a logo reveal? But I don’t want the material on each shapes, I want it to affect the whole, if you know what I mean

    • @Sketchyvisuals

      I believe flat projection mapping under the texture on the cloner will do the trick! :)

    I just bought your file for this. Its annoying because the gradient material doesn't work for my cloner when I apply it. I've done everything and set it up the same way but it doesn't seem to work. Any tips on how to fix it? PS the rainbow material works just fine on yours but I have not idea how to replicate it on my own.

    • @Sketchyvisuals
      @Sketchyvisuals  3 роки тому +1

      I cant suggest a solution except maybe study the file and work backwards, it sounds like you've simple just missed something man! Maybe copy and paste my node and compare the two?

    • @BuzzBoii
      @BuzzBoii 3 роки тому

      Same I have followed the same steps, but my gradient seem to only switch between the first two colors of the gradient. Did you find a fix? Either way great tutorials as always Sketchy

    • @BuzzBoii
      @BuzzBoii 3 роки тому +1

      Edit: If you want to "Color Gradient" both the Spherical and Random Field, go to Plain --> Falloff and make sure you only turn off the circles of the random field (the 3 circles thing on the left of substract). For some dumb reason I didn't notice that he switched scenes when he started texturing.

    • @mdhafiz00
      @mdhafiz00 Рік тому

      I had the same problem. to fix this, on the random field tab > color remap > change color mode to gradient. and also enable the 3 color dot in plain >field (falloff) tab.
