  • This 70's Mighty Tonka Loader was rusty and needed some TLC but the restoration made it brand spanking new! I purchased it from a guy who kept it for parts. I am happy I brought it back and made it nice again. Another one ready to load! I hope you enjoy it!

Very nice! This brings back some memories, I used to have one of those when I was little. I should’ve kept a lot of those old toys. Lol

Thank you very much - yes definitely very popular especially those 70s and older toys - they are very well made. They just do not make toys like this so I try to breathe life back to them.

Beautiful work! Maybe you can get the Tonka loader decals for the sides to make it even sweeter?

If you drill another hole the same size as the one that's on the loader it would be like the big Catapiller 944k front end loader

You do some nice work restoring vintage toys, you might want to put a primer coat on first and wet sand the parts, then the finish paint. It will give you a better smoother finish.
    But they do look nice.
