CASHING IN CANS OF COINS!

I keep my dimes, nickels and pennies together. I have 8 coffee cans filled to the brim. Quarters are separate. Been doing this for over 25 years. Would have lots more but have been cashing them in when needed

Kind of the same. I started saving change back in April 2020. My change really went up in June 2021 when I started my first job as there is change everywhere. I keep my Quarters, Dimes, and Nickels in a big jar that when full, I'll cash it in on a Friday when my paycheck comes in and put half of said amount in checking and other in savings.
But pennies are in a smaller jar that when full, I'll use to splurge a little. It could be for cash, a gift card, or maybe even Amazon.

@@stewartquark1661 yeah originally I did have all of it in one jar but while pennies add up, it's not much. Originally I wanted to put all my change in the coinstar but can't do cash because it takes 11% of every dollar but I didn't want to use it all on Amazon. So that's the main reason why I separated the change. I cashed in the pennies on November 1st for a charity donation and it was $28.24 (all pennies and 1 dime)

I save my coins in different 5 gallon jugs each separate loonies in one toonies in another and dimes and quarters plus nickels
