- The number of people dying from coronavirus in Italy has risen by 475 in one day to nearly 3,000 - the biggest increase since the outbreak.
There are a total of 35,713 confirmed cases in the country, with more than 4,000 having successfully recovered.
Lombardy, the worst-hit region, recorded 319 deaths in one day.
Italy is the world's worst affected country after China, where the virus originated last year. At least 8,758 people have died, most in China.
Spain now has 598 dead and 13,716 infections. An inquiry is to be launched into the deaths of at least 17 residents of a nursing home in Madrid, where dozens of cases of Covid-19 have been reported.
In France, the number of confirmed cases grew by more than 16% on Tuesday, reaching 7,730, while the death toll rose to 175, with 7% of the dead aged under 65.
In the UK, the number of dead has reached 104.
Germany has 12 deaths and 8,198 cases. In a TV address, Chancellor Angela Merkel urged Germans to abide by restrictions aimed at combating the pandemic. "Since German reunification, actually, since World War Two, there has never been a challenge for our country in which acting in solidarity was so very crucial," she said.
Belgium has 14 deaths and 1,486 cases.

Jetmir Metaliaj tell everyone to stop eating pigs and birds and to eat beef sparingly. People are absolutely disgusting devouring meat at every meal. I love the taste of beef. I eat it every couple of weeks and I feel guilty at that. I’m 6 feet 215 pounds and work daily in construction. You don’t need meat to be strong and healthy. The way we keep animals spreads all these diseases, especially pigs and chickens. If something has so much bacteria and so many parasites eating it raw will kill you, why would you eat it?
We need to get to the bottom of how this virus was released. The Chinese will have to pay for this as in the beginning they hid the problem and people from Whuhan travelled to other regions of the world

I understand this practice has now been stopped and could soon hopefully reduce the death rates but if this is true then the virus could return with a vengeance when you get to thanksgiving, if the use of the cup is resumed. @@littlesebastian4389 SA cases are 200+. Schools closed. Liquor stores and bars can sell till 6pm and 9pm on weekends. No deaths yet that i know of and only groups of 50 allowed. Festivals and shows are cancelled and sport. The cases seem to be more in Johannesburg side than other provinces.

Our patient 1 was possibly patient 200... due to the asymptomatic vectors. of course, mistakes were done, but no neglection, only the incapacity of handling a totally new, and fastly changing situation. The campaign for hugging Chinese people was simply a reply to a generalized fear, sometimes, racist, against Chinese people.
People we need to rationalise and stop stockpiling food from supermarkets and give chance to our health workers who work long hours so that they can buy food when they finish there shifts.
I like that it shows the true colours of humanity. I hope we are all wiped out. We deserve it.

Situation food.. My family decided to buy grocereis online, instead of going to the supermarket, because as you will have seen there are long queues of people out of the supermarket.
The problem is that online you must wait for almost 2 weeks for your buy.
