The first quote hints at the futility of material possessions because your life is transient and your possessions won't follow you when you die. The second quote states that greed leads you on a path to acquire more and more material possessions. It's an endless path and will bring no inner fulfillment but only sorrow in the long run because in the end... It's an endless path. There's no sense of achievement in it. You will just keep asking for more and more and more until you die, as well as your greed.

But I think it is good to live the life we loves not what people’s thinks or their opinions. Is this make sense to you all or not ? Yes we’re all humans but we don’t thinks or doing the same things. Let peoples makes their own choices , don’t tell them how you are or what you’re thinking cuz it won’t help them . I don’t like people to make decisions for me cuz they don’t know what I want . The organiser of these Indian wise sayings has confused Red Indians with India Indians. India Indians never wore moccasins and count months as moons. Only America Indians did that. So much for your intelligence.
Different parts of the world have their own version or analogy of saying the same thing. I have seen swastika in a Canadian museum portraying something native american by the way. So Indian influence on Native Americans is not a zilch probability. On a side note Columbus did think he was in India when he discovered America initially.

Not bad not bad 👍
”Life is a bridge, cross over it, but build no house on it”
”Greed is the root cause of all sorrow”
Can’t help but to feel a slight contradiction
The first quote hints at the futility of material possessions because your life is transient and your possessions won't follow you when you die.
The second quote states that greed leads you on a path to acquire more and more material possessions. It's an endless path and will bring no inner fulfillment but only sorrow in the long run because in the end... It's an endless path. There's no sense of achievement in it. You will just keep asking for more and more and more until you die, as well as your greed.
Accomplishing your goals isn't greedy
"build no house on it" means "use it to cross over, but have no greed or attachment"
Different side of the same coin I guess

A true smart man will NEVER marry. Period.
I absolutely agree. It is a useless old ceremony and love between two beings do not last all life. Why should a wise man ever marry, especially in these times where good women are not so easy to find and where most laws are too in favour of the the weak sex?
@Liberty family It's your opinion. Mine is that your imagination is unsafe and that it is delusional to think to know someone even better than the author of one's few sentences.

I’m not trying to be rude or all that . I just want everybody to understand . You all have a nice day . Oh Merry Christmas to you all ❤️✌️

Sounds more like Native American proverbs to me.
Different parts of the world have their own version or analogy of saying the same thing.

On a side note Columbus did think he was in India when he discovered America initially.
