Anyone that make a child's voice sound so innocent is one of the most evil kinds of monsters. In the intro to Leprechaun: Back 2 the Hood they give you the origin story of The Leprechaun. Not to spoil the movie. But The Leprechaun has lived for centuries and seen humanity at it's worst. Which made him believe that all humanity is weak and will always compromise their own beliefs for wealth.
This movie has a special place in my heart. I used to be terrified of The Leprechaun when I was a kid. Freddy, Jason, Chucky, Mike Myers, none of them compared to this creepy little guy. My uncle would tease me about it to get me to listen to him when he would baby sit me lol. "You better not get out of bed or else I'll get the Leprechaun to come" 🤣 He was a huge inspiration in my life as a man. We unfortunately lost him in 2020. But remember him through the good times and fun things, like this movie 😊. Truly glad you enjoyed the movie. ✌♥
I'm so sorry for the loss of your uncle. I too had an uncle who was an inspiration to me as a man. In my family most of the men are not good guys at all. Except for my grandfather who died five years ago and my uncle who divorced my aunt when I was young. Mind you neither one of them were perfect not even close. But they could be very nice. Especially my uncle he wasn't afraid or embarrassed like most men are to enter into a child's world and play along with them. Believe me all kids desperately want guidance and friendship from anyone willing to make them feel like they matter.

Leprechaun was originally just a kids movie about a Leprechaun, but eventually the Producers decided for one reason or another to make it a full on R rated Horror Slasher 😂 You can kinda tell from the intro with the O'Grady's vs the later kill sequences which were added after the fact. For my money, the 1st 6 Leprechaun movies are brilliant Horror Comedy entertainment 🍀💰
I completely agree with you. It's too bad that most people don't feel that way. Whenever I show people these movies they either like them okay or they think they are terrible. I guess I just have to trust in my own taste of films and can't care less about everyone else's opinions.
@@vincecommando7575exactly that's the thing it's not meant to be taken seriously as other horror films that's why its in the comedy horror genre but people don't seem to understand and criticize it
I love this movie. If you're in a bad mood it'll cure it in no time. Everyone has to start their career somewhere and most start in horror movies. Just look at George Clooney's early gigs he was in Grizzly II: Revenge, Return to Horror High and Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Luckily for Jennifer Anniston she got the Friends gig before she had to do anymore horror movies. 😂
George Clooney along with various other actors are living proof that anybody can rise through the ranks in Hollywood. All they have to do is sharpen up their acting skills and always do the best job they can with the characters they play. That to me is the difference between ordinary character actors that will only go so far and movie stars that are driven to excel as actors.
As a young kid I was scared of The Leprechaun, Chucky and The Crypt Keeper. As silly as that sounds now. At the time any monster that was the same height as I was scared me more than taller monsters. Cause you can hide from taller monsters and go into smaller spaces that they can't go. But with smaller monsters it's way more challenging.
This was a legit reaction. I think this film just a classic goofy 90s horror film. I rate it 8.3/10. Anyway cant wait for more reaction from you and i hope you are having wonderful day so far:)
@@RyeSix45 I will Happily-&-Proudly Support any Reaction to Urban Cowboy! Not only is it a beautiful Love Story but all of it was Filmed in-and-around Houston, where I was born! 🤠👍
It is very goofy seeing it as an adult. But as a kid scary as hell. I definitely commend Warwick Davis, Jennifer Aniston, Ken Olandt and Robert Hy Gorman on their performances.
I always get Freddy Krueger vibes from The Leprechaun. He likes to have the most fun by scaring people and killing people. Not much different that Freddy Krueger does. They are both killer clowns. Not intended as a reference to John Gacy.
Believe it or not countless people love it for the dark humor. Which is very reminiscent of Freddy Krueger. People love to see a character that relishes in their own evil. It makes it all the sweeter when they are killed off by the end of film.

@cinemawithsteph Gremlins is set at Christmas, and is a great horror comedy. The sequel leans harder into the comedy (also set in December, but not a Christmas movie).
