Thank you for this video -- yes, it worked!!! This is the second time I have had to implement this fix. The first time was many months ago, but Dell SupportAsssist decided to update my software with a new device driver (unfortunately, we do not enjoy any option to disable updates as we move forward - the application continues to remind us when an update is available - so my system was again reoutfitted with the driver with which I was having problems earlier this year). What is absolutely beyond me is WHY a large and well-known company such as Realtek cannot learn from its errors and provide a driver that is actually "stutter free." Microsoft has done a far better job with its default audio driver than Realtek has done with its high definition driver. What is so shocking about this is that Realtek is in the audio business (at least, in part). If it is going to provide audio drivers for public consumption, it sure ought to do more work towards making certain those drivers are reliable. I would love to see this comment replied to by Realtek, but I won't hold my breath.
