*Note that at 3.12 in this video I say that I'm in China. While HK is technically a part of the People's Republic of China it considers itself a separate region. As a special administrative region, Hong Kong maintains governing and economic systems that are separate from those of mainland China. Many people here identify as Hongkongers rather than Chinese. I want to be culturally sensitive to the places I visit and their identities, especially at a time when there are tensions between HK's sovereignty and relationship with China.

Hi, did you just go to HK or was this published later? I'm going on 9/8/19 and I'm a bit concerned about the Protests etc. Any tips? how is it in Kowloon?

I didn't have any problems, but I was there in July before tensions escalated. Unless the protesters are occupying the airport, I doubt you'll have any problems. Hongkongers are very nice people. Kowloon is an amazing district with so much to see!
