It's a rainy week here in Hong Kong ☔ Where are you watching from?
Scorching hot Manila. I missss HK! 😢
UK...where it rains a lot !
@@inbetweenworlds Still haven't been! One day :)
@@RaymondwLin Here too!
New Jersey. Rainy week too over here!
when the cafe owner said hong kong people don't usually film places like these, i smiled because that's exactly why i tune in to your videos every week 😄🤍
Yes I find him so cute, lol
Special request from a die-hard fan from Montreal: would LOVE to see a video or tutorial on how you vlog (your vlogging process, BTS, filming, editing). Your content is absolutely amazing, and I especially love how the act of vlogging itself is present in all your content 🙌🏼.
U know just how good a creator is when you subscribe in 0.05 seconds. The editing skills are fireee✨
Thank you 🙇🏻♀️
Your vlogs make me feel as if I am travelling with you. I’ll be literally in Hong Kong (visiting after 14 years) tomorrow. I must say 50% of my itinerary is inspired by your videos :)
Wow HK had changed a lot since then! Hope u guys have a good time!
I miss Hong Kong so much. Especially the old Hong Kong. The food, the shopping mall, the seniors who has their morning workout on the basketball fields, busy Mongkok, etc. Thank you so much for vlogging in Hong Kong, so I am able to experience Hong Kong through your videos. Subscribed to your channel. Can't wait for more Hong Kong vlogs. ❤
UR VIDS ALWAYS HAVE THE MOST TOP TIER EDITING AND CINEMATOGRAPHY ISTG
your videos are curing my weekly monday blues
Awwww thanks!
The moody jazzy music choice plus the scenes of you guys at the vintage local cafe was so Wong Kar-wai coded!
Found your channel and immediately fell in love 💘 brings back memory before COVID when we visit HK once a year for HK artfair. The vibrant and modern city with it's preserved old city charm. Our itinerary were usually like these vids.. museum, gallery, local cafe, and pushcart dimsum for breaky.. thank you for capturing these hidden gems 🌟💜
great video, i love hong kong vibes 🤍
Woohoo! Just in time for a rainy holiday monday in London. 😀
Likewise here in Hong Kong! Happy Monday :)
We need more rainy days...monsoon vlogs are the best
Love the background music at the beginning ❤
I love how peaceful your videos make me feel
I love this moody and simple vibe. Hong Kong is my home. Thanks for your wonderful H.K. video.❤❤
Always so wonderful to watch. Thank you for all you do. This video made me feel cozy. Like I'd just put on my favorite hoodie and chilled with a cuppa.❤❤❤❤
So happy for a new video !!! Love them ❤
Always enjoy your videos. Love your choices of music. Keep enjoying life.
I paid more attention to the video when I saw "Salt Baked Chicken". Also, as always, the soundtrack always always on point! Like how many hours are you guys going through music lol
the vibe is back 🎉
Really enjoy your vlogs! Watching you from NYC and it promises to be a rainy week here this week! ❤
Oh nooooo 😂 we miss nyc!
you really did the guy a solid and made us want to go to his little cafe!! beautiful vlog as usual.
ผมไป HK.เกือบทุกปียาวนานกว่า20ปีแต่พอได้เห็นHK.ผ่านเลนส์แซมและวิคเตอร์แล้วมันตื่นเต้นทุกครั้ง ขอบคุณมาก
Let's gooo! Make that 21 years ;) haha thanks for tuning in!
I enjoy watching your channel. The cinematography is top-notch!
What a beautiful video. I am now hooked on. The way your camera work moves with the music and the way you showcase places, love them. Looking forward to watching one by one as a treat, so I don't finish all in one go! Looking forward to more
binge-watching all of your videos and i’ve been a fan since then! much love from the philippines
Thank you so much!
The colorgrading is insaneeeeee
Thanks for shearing~ Those parts of your life make me feel peaceful
Sam, I've been loving the outfits recently! Great summer inspo 😎
I love your videos so much, been watching them since I came back from Hong Kong! It's fun to see local shops and places that's not filled with tourist, hopefully I can go to these places next time I have the chance to travel to Hong Kong :D
I was born in Kowloon in 1965 and emigrated to Brazil in 1980. The only thing I miss about Hong Kong is the food really. Cant' believe it's been 44 years.
This channel deserves MORE RECOGNITION like 1.78 M subs rather than 178k 😭🤌🏻 where are these people??! Idk why they opened yt if this isn’t what they are tune in for 😅
Because it doesn't feel authentic. It feels like they are following the camera more than the camera is following them. There's a reason Dale Philip for example has over 3 million subscribers because it feels like a down to earth authentic experience.
Wonderful camera work and scenes. Well done! Subscribed. Keep the videos coming !
Love seeing my hometown thru your colorful lenses!
Watching your vlogs while walking on the treadmill. It was kinda therapeutic to watch. 😊😊
Glad we can be a part of your workout routine (ironically we’re just eating a lot in this vlog haha)
Great video . Excellent English as well. I really enjoyed seeing Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Thank you kindly!
Just returned from HK to UK, stayed in Oil Street. Weather not too good, but had a fab time. Went to Samsen on your recommendation, fab food. Also went to Blue Bottle and Halfway Mongkok. Celebrated my 70th in The Penninsula. Thanks for awesome vlogs 💕
We clicked the video as soon as we got the notification! 💖
You guys r the best❤
What an amazing place!
Was here at the same time and experienced the storm 🥲
お二人の動画を見てUA-camを始めました。素晴らしい動画をありがとうございます。今後も楽しみにしています☺
I started UA-cam after watching a video of the two of them. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I'm looking forward to the future.☺
Thank you!
Sending love from Singapore!!!❤
Another great video. We are coming to HK in 2 weeks. I noticed you use sony camera. You mind to tell me which zoom lens you use for the videos? Thanks
Hello from Manila! Can I just say, I made our entire HK itinerary from binge watching your vlogs! Visiting in a few days!!! Super love your vibes!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
I hope you have a good time! The weather should be sunny then!
蓮香樓回來了!! 太棒啦!!
Yes so happy to see the neon signs back up!!
와 홍콩 가고 싶다!!! 잘봤어요!
😀
I love HK and miss it so bad my friends from college in the states live there and used to go visit every two yrs or so and after corvid I haven’t visit >< watching u guys channel makes me miss there so much 🫶✨
You make great vlogs! Not just trying… you do! 😊
Would love to see your content and trip planning process. Y’all consistently put out good content on several platforms, and your trips seem planned to the T!
I usually plan on google maps and google sheets and make sure to film both horizontal and vertical so I have footage for both UA-cam and reels!
Miss the trams so much! Thanks your work is amazing. Can you make a vlog of Happy Valley someday? Really miss the place
Great video, I have never heard of the Asia Society eventhough I live in HK. I probably will check out the art exhibition. Thanks for the video.
i love your vlogs♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Your vlogs put in a state of mindfullness thanks, over here in Hialeah Fl.
Thank you for reminding me how good is it to live in hk
Hello, what most likely will be the weather in June and what outfits can you recommend for tourists? Thank you!
8:25 😂 …. another awesome vlog. Thanks for sharing ❤
I lived in Hong Kong for 2 and a half years in a refugee camp called Jubilee in Sham Shui Po. I miss HK very much.
I ' m singing in the rain ... hello from Germany !
Hello from Barcelona!. Last week I was in HK, yes raining lots of days.
Hope you still got to see some skyline views!
I want to go to Barcelona and Hong Kong. Never even been out of the u.S a
HK vibes ❤❤❤
Amazing blog! Subbed!
Chicos felicitaciones hacen preciosas tomas, me encantan esas rutas panorámicas, lindo conocer Hong Kong. ❤
I Ilike the chicken rice in Quarry Bay! Thanks for showing us.
idk why but i find it cute when the uncle thought you guys are foreigners bc ppl in HK usually dont film places this
Great video, great music ❤❤❤❤
Cute coffee transition at 3:55! Was also waiting for an eyelashes update :)
They’ve been resurrected that’s for sure 👀
I'm watching from Korea
I started my daily VLOG after watching your UA-cam
The video is so cool🤩
I'm going to travel to Hong Kong this August❤
Yay! I hope you have a good time here!
I’m going to Hong Kong tomorrow ❤❤❤, I’m so excited 😋😋😋
It’s finally sunny this week so you’re in luck!!
Wow! I never been this early, let'sgoooo watch! :D
and you're the first one! woohoooo
@@SamandVictor whoohooo! And again, always super chilled vlogs, love it
thanks
Nice filming, good editing with excellent audio
Lovely vlog! Even with the cats and dogs🤣
I need to visit Macau when it gets cooler- it always feels 10x more humid than HK!
Your videos always make me miss HK! Can I ask where your beige bag in the intro is from?
I thrifted it! It’s an old Guess bag
This video should've been uploaded one month earlier😭I visited Monster Building with my parents in April! So sad missing an opportunity to visit Jinjin . Hope I can visit the restaurant on my next HK trip. Thank you for the amazing video!
Yeah it’s super close to monster! Another reason to come back then haha
woHH have to visit arte museum soon;;;
Check out that last room... looks like you're in a box
I feel like I need to go HK now for the food.
HK, like most Asian countries, is relatively safe. You can take a walk or go shopping or get a bite at night. I can't say the same for USA. I visit HK once in a while and I feel like home and not worry about crimes.
love the asethetics as always! just wondering, if u guys always keep the raw footages and how do to store and organise them? x
I put them on an 4TB external hard drive and every once in a while I’ll offload it onto 16TB hard drive
@@SamandVictor wow that's such a work!
Sunny Malta! Miss HK
You can actually see a cockroach on the counter at 05:51 by the veggie bowl on the right
The place at the end of the video; I recognised from the film Still human 🤣
Lovely video.
Going to Hong Kong for the first time soon and unfortunately it's going to be raining the whole time. Thank you for the video!
Do you know if the places you went to would be english-friendly at all?
Yes to the art museums- for local cafes you can use google translate for menus!
Lan Kwai Fong is an expat district. You might want to go there. I was in HK a few weeks ago. It will be very hot during summer.
Tip: get a MRT card for public transportation and you can also use it to buy stuff from bakeries, 7 Eleven, mini marts, restaurants, and many other shops....very convenient. Some self-serve laundromats allow you to use MRT card to pay as well.
You packed a lot in this vlog. Thanks for sharing .. The retro green cafe felt like Chinatown NYC in the 1950s. Maybe less Noisy more good 👍 manners
Yes I want to go to the cafe but what is the name and address?!!
Can please ask the brand of Victor’s bag? And if there’s a link? :D
I miss Hong Kong 😭
Team Chicken Feet here, love it in soups 🍲 😋 😍
Oh waow... we (fr Indonesia) also went to the same place (Asia Society HK Center) 2 weeks ago
It’s nice right!? Surprised there’s never anyone there
Immersing utensils in hot water is a custom but would not protect against Salmonella or E. coli. There are strains of both Salmonella and E.coli that are extremely resistant to heat. Noroviruses can survive in a typical steamer used for cooking shellfish. Rinsing utensils might seem better than doing nothing but proper food handling should be the focus.
Hey guys, really enjoy the simplicity of the vlogs. Keep up the good work. The professionalism comes through really well. Quick question, wondering why the last few vlogs you showcase Cuban themed music in Asia?? Others may not notice but I am from the region and know this from birth. Just curious who is the aficionado…
You mean the music artists? One is actually called ‘Cuban Quartet’ haha… the music selection is a nod to Wong Kar Wai
I’m watching from Puerto Rico wis also raining season.
As people who used to live in Canada, is there anything you miss from Canada?
S. Korea here!
Für Elise by Beethoven! The only song I can play too! 😄👏
What part of Hong Kong are you in?
So ironic, many young Hongkongers going to Canada, but you guys going to Hong Kong from Canada😆
I must know: who did the music on this episode? Shout out to you. 🎉
Music has been a miss lately, but this was a hit. ❤
