I just transcribed what I think the lyrics are (below). Hopefully all the people asking for them are happy with them, it's what I usually sing. Enjoy!

I met these guys when I played with them in north Devon, barnstaple England...
And the guitarist who wrote it actually really didnt like it...
He said "ah, I'm not mad keen on that one now"
And I was there like... rah, that tune bangs bro haha...

Great tune. I got into the skints so heavily because of their metal esque mix with ska/ reggae sound but i'm into this stuff just as much. Keep right on.

I think thats a tad harsh, if youve seen them live youd appreciate the majority of their set is there original sound and they are true to their roots, as a fan im ecstatic that they have chosen to branch out and grace even more musical genres with their presence

I prefer their edgier side personally, but they still got that, everybody went mental when they played Mindless in Camden. It's summer, give em a break :) The new stuff actually all sounded great live even if this recording doesn't do a lot for me.
this tune helped me through my a levels this year, i got down and had enough and it never failed to lift my mood and think of brighter times ahead - cheers skints you were amazing at koko x

The faces Josh pulls are hilarious
some people have no idea about how hard it is for bands and how impossible it is for everyone to be happy. I agree this song is different to previously released tracks like rubadub and ratatat as it lacks the grimey, dark sound, but the skints had upbeat happy songs like this on part and parcel (lay you down).. just because it has a cheerful sound and colourful video doesn't mean that they've changed and have become too commercialized. Don't judge until you've heard the whole album is what I say
Agreed. Loving the chilled dub vibes, In fact i think their new album shows the bands dubvelopment, love it when an artist is great and then their new stuff they put out is just as good if not even better. & They're so good live!!!!

I'm liking the the new song and the video. The Skints have always done a mixture of heavy/serious and lighter songs. The video makes me smile every time I watch it. Looking forward to KOKO at Camden tomorrow!!!

I didn't say anything about the video; and I'd rather keep it that way. In my opinion, the music itself has a slightly more 'pop' ring to it than it did before, hence the nature of my comment.

this is good, but I loved the way they used to just seamlessly and effortlessly flip from reggae, ska, dub into punk and hardcore-ish sounds and then back again throughout their songs, and I hope they aren't abandoning that to be more accessible

i know that in music videos they sometimes have makeup done because the exposure from the bright light makes you look pale but it looks a bit like overkill which is kinda funny.. im not hating on the skints if thats what you think lol
