Judge Judy always gives grandma vibes when she talks to kids. I love her!
"Could you please ask him again because he didn't give the answer we prepared him to give the first time?" That's not gonna fly, ma'am.
@@MrV41N "could you please ask him again" is quoted, the person is just making a joke because her son tells the truth and not what her parents prepared him to say
@@Rayon_Rayon he is a kid, he wouldnt know to give the full context of what happened before his dog started twisting around
I can't believe she said this! 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
@nocapkobster He wouldn't know to lie, you mean.
The vileness of these defendants to blame the victim - a little child - for their crime
You can tease the dog all you want, still no reason to get bitten
@keeping it 100 Some yes, some no.
@keepingit-zz8tt not true.
@irynalebedyeva7900 it depends on the teasing. if the dog doesn't know that it's just teasing, it's self-defense, and the dog shouldn't be penalized.
@@irynalebedyeva7900 depends on the teasing. Like humans, dogs have a tolerance limit and can only take so much. Then it’s either back off, or they make you back off.
Age of the person is irrelevant to a dog.
That poor kid was terrified for his life when he tried to jump onto the garbage can.
who fucking cares. they cant hurt you get over it
LOL, nah.
@@bluedragonfly8139yes, it was obvious Malik was scared of those dogs.
The look she gave @ 1:25 the mom after she told her son to go back to his seat was everything
Lmaoooo it was the 😁😳 for me
The Son Malik is so cuuute awwww. He was so fearless.
Judge Judy is so good with children. I love it.
0:32 why is her left sleeve tattoo blurred? are we in a japanese sauna?
Maybe it’s offensive to some people. So the blurred so people don’t harass her
She seriously wants her to ask him again? Can she be any dumber?
They must didn’t know she had home surveillance 🤦🏽♀️
Her son is so cute 🥰 poor thing
she said, could you ask him again....
SMH she's worst than her Mut!
Lol !!... Like his story of events are multiple choice & they're looking for the right one to fit their narrative.
What a stupid mom. Hope her son doesn't grow up to be like her.
Poor dogs 😢I hope they are still alive and not pay for the mistake of the kids and the lies of the parents 🙏
“Can you ask him again?” 🤦🏽♀️ 😂
Defendants are disgusting. Just take responsibility and pay the medical bills. Why does a judge have to tell these idiots to do the right thing? Even their 13 year-old son has more morals, scruples and dignity than his parents. SMH
Both bright young men.
Judge judy in a good mood here
Lol
From what I saw in the video, the kids had a stick in his hand! This treks me that he was teasing the dogs with the stick!
I doubt it. My son will be 11 in a couple days and he has a stick in his hand outside constantly ever since he was little. He brings them inside to put on our balcony even so they don't go missing. We don't have any animals in our yard being teased, he just loves playing with sticks. As do a lot of the kids in our building, boys and girls.
Poor kid
Best way to catch a parent lying if they want you to ask their kid a question they’ve already answered after you give your answer. 🤣
Skyler is so stinking cute😄
The boy wanted to tell the truth give the boy some credit you know people do things for the right reason too. I do forget that people can't comprehend thinking things through. Wtf
Skylar's mother is a wonderful example of honesty 🙄. If your dog did it just OWN IT
A chihuahua-dachshund mix sounds like a total nightmare to me. Those are the two yappiest dogs I can think of.
"Could you please ask him again."
and doesn't THAT sound suspicious!!
Why is a little kid like that trying to handle 2 dogs. This is what happens. I sure hope he didn’t get in trouble for not saying what his parents wanted him to
Judge Judy must be a great grandmother! It is the responsibility of the dog owners to fence their yard.
TRAILER PARK ANTICS
Just left the keys
Skylar is going to be in big trouble for telling the truth. So sad. Parents need role modeling training
I find it disappointing that adults can't figure out how to peacefully co-exist. Your dog bit someone's kid. Have some empathy. Apologize.
This is just another example of ppl preferring to be right instead of smart.
Only a little dog, harden up boy 😂
to me look like the dogs are just wanting to play tbh. but if they did bite him and he was teasing the dogs i dont gives 2 fks he was in my yard teasing my dogs.
I know that the kid is honest and respectful and I don't think that the defendant should pay back the money for the plaintiff for attacking her son in the park
Judy laughed and it wasnt outta sarcasm lol. Love her. I used to dislike her but she's fair and doesn't tolerate bullshit. U can't lie to her.
If you tell the truth you don’t need a good memory.
If the boy doesnt remember it, it wasn't very traumatic
That video didn't show anything. The dog lunged at the last moment, but she can't PROVE the bite. Not saying the kid wasn't bitten, but that didn't show him being bitten.
Get him Judy!
He says he has a mutt and a chauweenie which is still a mutt. 😅
I don't know why people are coming down on the defendant's mom/parents. It's completely plausible that what the son (Skyler) testified to is true, AND what she claims is also true. JJ didn't ask about the events leading up to the incident. It very well could have happened as the mother claims, that Malik had gone over there to tease the dogs, AND then the dogs got upset and Skyler lost control of one of the dogs, leading the dogs to chase after Malik.
Everyone don’t like dogs people KEEP THEM TANNED!
When my dog bit the neighbor in our yard we were still responsible. Even though the neighbor came into our yard with the intent to rob our house and didn't see the dog we still were responsible for the dog getting out inviting the person. You have a responsibility when you own animals A bouncy a trampoline and a pool
I’m so terrified of 🐶’s. Big or small 😢
That small dog caused a scene? 😂
Doesn’t matter if he was “teasing “ the dog, as she claimed. He bit the boy. So she’s blaming the kid?
How about this he was teasing the dog if he was never told not to not his or the dogs fault learning experience don't tease animals end of story no punishment for either of them
@@BUNCHOFLOSERSYOUARE-np6ex That's not the law. The family is responsible for the dog.
I watched this and thought it was a comedy
Is the plaintiff's arm tattoo being blurred when the camera pans out? Or am I seeing things ?
I hope Skyler doesn't get into trouble with his parents for telling the truth. The parents arnt setting a good example for trying to getbtheir son to lie to keep them from getting into trouble.
Imagine thinking JJ isn’t going to pick up on you coaching your son lol.
So if a young child teases a dog, it’s ok for the dog to scratch or bite the child? Why is that their excuse? There are many kids around and no way every parent is teaching their kids not to tease dogs so the owner should teach their dog how to interact with children.
IDK why but I'm taking offense to how they keep calling one of their dogs the mutt. It makes me think they favor the other 3 dogs over him.
I’m just worried whether his parents punished him after this. He’s a brave boy, and the parents come off sleazy.
Fancy not taking responsibility for a child being bitten by your dog… even if the child was in your yard and teasing your dog 🙄😒
My literal first thought.
They really are sleazy
The dad is kinda hot
I hope the kid knows that telling the truth and taking responsibility for things isn't always a bad thing especially when you did cause the problem.
This is an example of kids are born innocent and honest. Its the adult that took away their innocence and honesty.
Yep! Such a beautiful and short lived thing! Once puberty hits, and they realize there is no magic in the world. It’s a sad sad day.
@@coffeeaddictexpress5038 true.
Very true!
Y'all must not have kids huh? 😅
Unbelievable these two 😮😕
That video is clear. Those dogs were off leash, out of control and chasing that little boy. I don’t understand why the defendants feel like they’re not responsible.
whats the point tho those dogs cant hurt anyone
@@aarondavid5866 given that they bit a child, obviously they can and they did
@@Blueskies271 weiner dogs moron? Have never bitten anyone fact
They weren't off leash. The kid dropped the leash. Malik wasn't in his yard to begin with
@@kellyann5587 A kid shoudn't be the one holding a dog's leash. FOR THAT VERY REASON. i.e. that kids can't always keep hold of the leash. If a family owns a dog, the parents have to be the ones walking it. Letting a kid do it is basically the same as the dog being off leash.
Much respect to Skylar for telling the damn truth. I know this was years ago but I hope Malik doesn’t have a fear of dogs now.
When talking about how Malik wants to own dogs he smiled so I think it may not be a fear of dogs maybe just a bit of a bad memory
@Jakob Whaley and ge said he couldn't remember, so maybe his brain is protecting him a bit. Seeing Malik try to run up those trash cans was sad 😔.
If he does it's well warranted. Dogs shouldn't be owned as pets anymore no matter the size.
@@pink1237480the what happens to them it’s not like there wild animals and anyway all animals dogs especially are better than any person I have yet to meet. @@pink1237480 There's nothing wrong with having a dog as a pet, but they should always be loved, fed and cared for, not abused.
I love how Judge Judy talks to children.
She did it for over 25 years as a family court judge in NYC
She understands them as all adults should
She is a mom and grandma.
@@missagente8100
Just because you have kids and grandkids doesn’t make you a good person connoisseur. But she have work at family court for decades before she started civil court and she met many family and kids and have the experience from there. Especially when parent want the kids to lie so they can get custody.
This is the reason you won’t let your kids take care of your dog. You have strict ownership responsibilities when you have a dog so never ever let a child take care of the dog when your not present. If you love your dog, don’t let your child go out by themself with the dogs. It can end up bad and the police give you a order to put the dog down. So when you got a dog it’s YOUR responsibility and only yours. Don’t put that on your underage kids.
A child is so honest. The first response was the truth. Shame on that parent!
It's all about eye contact. The eyes never lie.
Not necessarily. She didn't ask him what happened prior to the leash getting twisted. That other kid could definitely have been teasing the dogs. I hate it when JJ makes too quick of a call.
The question wasnt frased in a way that he would say that, plus kids are dumb, you should hear my baby sister trying to tell a story, misses out n so many details.
I'm thrilled to turn your likes from 1.5k to 1.6k😂
It doesn’t matter if he was teasing the dog or not…kids will be kids and dogs will be dogs. If you own a dog you are responsible for their actions. Our children, regardless of the bad choices they may make, need to be protected. If you want your dogs to run outside they need to on a leash or in a fence.
The look Skylar gave his parents was hilarious. They didn't rehearse enough before the case.
They did…just that they cannot prepare a kid for a grilling by a judge.
@@Enterprise1701J One, that wasn't a grilling. Two, if you tell the truth, you don't need to worry about whether you're being "grilled" or not, in a courtroom in your hometown or on Judge Judy's TV show. You answer the questions, then you go sit down.
@@Enterprise1701JIf you’re telling the truth you don’t have to rehearse. I believe the original comment was sarcasm.

Both Malik and Skyler seem like such sweet kids
Be cool if they make friends out of it although the parents are being them
Yes

What's sad is That kid is gonna be punished for not telling judge Judy their version of the story.
It's the usual suspects. This is why we have people going into schools and spraying everyone. The middle class parents making excuses for their offspring. You never see other types of people going into the schools; it's always a certain type. Typical.
He's going to grow up hating them and they're going to tell their friends sob stories about their son is an ungrateful person that doesn't visit them.
@Celestial Wing those parents are everyone's problem. I got shouted at by customers like them in a shop. The shop assistant and other customers just let them do it. They don't suffer any consequences or have any accountability. When I saw someone verbally abusing a worker behind the counter I stuck up for him. He couldn't say anything because he was on the clock working but I could certainly say something. She turned her verbal abuse to me but I just said OK sweetheart have a lovely day goodbye now and that seemed to upset her more because she wanted a reaction. She ended up looking the fool and left
@Celestial Wing well that happens to WORTHLESS PARENTS!
That's all I thought about 😢
poor Malik, can't imagine how frightened he was. 😢
Agreed, I don’t like aggressive dogs. It’s the owner that makes them like that 😢
Good thing his mom stood up for him, though. I'm a young adult and I can't even stand up for myself but when if I ever have kids, ill change to be a stronger individual for my kids
Are you kidding me? I believe he was teasing the dogs and the other kid didn't see it because he was concentrating on the bigger dog. He was in their yard and does this all the time. Stay out of the neighbors yard and leave the dogs alone. He was carrying a stick!
@@kellyann5587 another kid is also carrying a stick, does that mean she was teasing the dogs too? 🧐 carrying/playing with sticks automatically means that you’re teasing dogs. Kids can’t play with sticks anymore?
😂
Even if a child that little was "teasing" my dog, I would be horrified to see it chase him and bite him. He clearly tries to run away and jump up out of biting range of the dog. Come on lady. When a neighbour like that does not care that her little 8 year old neighbour has been bitten that is all kinds of MESSED UP !!!!! Outrageous.
And if he does it “all the time” why didn’t they speak to him or his mum and ask her to explain the dangers of dog bites? And by the looks of the video all the kids where playing in the gardens, so why let your child take the dog out there in the first place? 🙄
@@bethan-maejames1170 they probably have. And the mom does nothing. I have the same issue with a kid by me. His mom does nothing and doesn't care
@@kellyann5587honestly they shouldn't be letting their dogs out there with their kid unsupervised then, if there's a chance that they will bite this kid for teasing them. it's not the dogs fault, it's the owners responsibility to protect their dogs and other humans by being cautious who they're around if they're known to show aggressive behavior.
If a lil kid was fucking around with my dog, and got bit, that’s not my fault.

Poor Malik 😭 Seeing him try to jump up on that trash can was sad. I remember being chased by a pit bull and I tried to hide behind a tree and it came straight at me. I'm so glad that it didn't catch me. The neighbors tried to say she wouldn't have bit me and that she was just playing but I had a cousin that was MAULED by a pit bull. I was not in the business of trying to find out if it was nice or not 🙄 I can't believe the defendant said can you ask him again 🤣🤣 girl WHAT. LOLOLOL.
Even if a dog is friendly, it shouldn't be loose and running after people. Maybe the dog in your case was just playing, but you're right, you shouldn't have had to find out.
Oh, please.... If the kid was harassing a tiny dachshund, "on a weekly basis", the dog had the right to respond to defend itself- Kids can be nasty and cruel- Doesn't anyone remember the nasty kids from their own childhood? I, personally, remember little kids who used to taunt and tease animals... this happens much too frequently. It comes from a lack of respect towards non -human animals. Little kids who tease animals grow up to be adolescents and adults who grow up and tease/abuse/exploit everyone else who is 'vulnerable', including other humans.
Judge Judy KNOWS DAMN WELL she's terrifying, lmao😂 Edit: And NO SHE JUST DID NOT ASK JJ TO ASK HER SON AGAIN!!!! You should've told him what to say right before court, lol!!! She's like, "Could ya ask him again, that's not what we rehearsed" lmao 😂

Such shameful parenting, coaching your kid and teaching him how to lie and deny accountability, even when faced with video evidence. I feel bad for Malik being attacked, but I just feel plain sorry for that kid with horrible parents who you know are going to dish out punishment behind closed doors.
They are both so handsome. They shouldn't make the young man lie. The children are innocent until the parents poison them and teach them wrong

I really hope that kid didn't get yelled at by his parents for not remembering the rehearsed answer his parents wanted him to give... shows what kind of people they are. I hope that kid stays on the right track and doesn't go around lying.
I hope Skyler is not going to get into trouble after this.
Judge Judy is AWESOME with kids! ☺️
Even if Malik was teasing the dogs, that doesn’t give skylar or his parents the rights to let their dogs mauling and attacking Malik! The defendants very nearly fooled JJ into sympathizing with them when Judy read their answers until Skylar spilled the beans!
Agreed. As a dog owner, it is my responsibility (AND the responsibility of the parents) to prevent any child from teasing my dog in the first place. This is why you don't leave kids and dogs alone together, and any adult who does is responsible for what happens.
@@rebeccahicks2392 agreed!

Les parents qui veulent que Skyler mente.
Honte à vous
I agree! The show pays the settlement! They have NO reason to tell their son to lie. Thankfully, he has better morals , in spite of his parents.
Why are they always like that? The animal owner always tries to deny that the incident happened. Then when they are presented with proof, they claim their animal was aggravated in some way. I think I only saw one case where the plaintiff's claims were ridiculous against the defendant and got dismissed.
9/10 times it’s because of the bill they don’t wanna pay.
I hope Skyler doesn't get punished for telling the truth 😅 I know his parents are not pleased
“Can you please ask him again?” Put on your listening ears lady
JJ has a soft spot for animals! Love when she laughs
The older boy took responsibility and told the truth. & even in the video he picked up a stick to chase n hit the dogs with. He's really sweet kid. Fs parents turn their kids bad. His parents are supposed to be setting an example. My dad woulda made us take responsibility if somethin happened. Poor kid. Help the kids do the right thing and feel good about it. Not do all this extra. You shouldn't feel bad for doing what's right even if it is your fault.
The video proved that the plaintiff's son never teased the defendant's dogs. They didn't want to pay the medical bills associated with the dog bite and take accountability. The plaintiff won the case
And even if he had, the owners would have been at least partly responsible, because you have to supervise kids and dogs together to prevent that. I mean morally responsible, since I can't answer for the legal side.
Kids don't lie. If a child tells lies it's what he was told to say most of the time
Definitely not true. Kids do lie. They don’t have to be taught how to lie - most do at some point or another. In this instance, this child was honest and good for him for being brave.

I love how skylar looks at his parents like is this what I’m supposed to say. But judge Judy is like: i know these tricks.
Because JJ knows if the witnesses are looking at the defendants/plaintiffs for assistance, they’ll likely tell them to lie for them. That’s why JJ doesn’t allow the defendants to say anything to the witnesses to lie for them nor the witnesses to look at the defendants and ask what they’re gonna say to the judge.
