memory sketchbooks are so much keeper, they have more then just a sketch they are memories they are stories of the past. a lot of people say well what do you do with it when its full? that's easy you keep it you get it back out every so often and there is the memory and sometimes you surprise yourself with something you forgot sometimes it makes you smile and sometimes you cry.
@@Didomum very well put. I look at sketches of my father playing the piano and I’m right there in a way I can’t be with a photo. I do exactly what you do…
Oh what a glorious sketchbook. I'm sure it was also great fun for you to relive all those moments. I loved so much the girls at the window...the way the light hit and the big globe of light at the front. Such interesting subjects and beautiful, beautiful artwork. Thankyou so much xx
When I visited my daughter years ago in Seoul, South Korea-- we rode the subway often. I very often saw couples sharing one set of earphones & watching something on their ipads or phones. Never saw them being inconsiderate like that couple in the airport. Thanks for sharing your sketchbook. I remember doing one of those paintings in a lesson with you!
@@anneonimus7204 thanks so much Anne! I used to sketch A5 until quite recently, it’s amazing how it affects so much in terms of your composition and approach.
Great stuff...I wasn't expecting Aussie convicts on bottles....I do have a few Irish ones in my family tree ,3bros whose crime had something to do with a pub brawl, hmmm, lol....and timely as I'm learning alot about colouring glass atm. 💚
