I really enjoy your channel. My husband and I tent camp for 40 years! We did all the National Parks in the States and many State Park as well and all the Canadian Parks. We are now in our 70's and a slowed down a bit, and travel in a small class C. Thanks for your posting and showing the beauty of the out doors! I love the cooking! I was so sorry about the lost of your equipment being stolen! Once again Thanks!

🥇Sorry I couldn't wait to comment I'm a texas fanatic. Ah the llano uplift what a distinct ecoregion of the texas hill country, it's the only place you'll find the sunset red granite in the hill country which was used to build the outer walls of the texas capitol building amongst other things. Just some fun facts, God bless y'all.

You two warm my heart! So glad you are out exploring again. I can feel your relief and excitement once again. You really overcame a tremendous setback. I pray you fully recover from your terrible experience. I hope the criminals who violated you are caught and dealt with by the law. I know you now have better security protocols in place. They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. That is an old saying....I would rather you all not to have gone through those trials and tribulations. Peace to you both! Happy trails again!

Cooking preparation tip....purchase disposable latex gloves when dealing with meat, making hamburger patties. Your hands will love you and afterwards, just toss them. Out camping, it's hard to wash your hands after dealing with meat.

I miss camping. Grew up tent camping then my parents bought a Shasta trailer. Then I graduated high school and started working so my camping/traveling with them came to an end. I was fortunate enough to have been to 36 states, Canada & Mexico by the time I was 18 and graduated from high school.

I’m so happy for you guys that are out camping again. We did miss your camping videos. I’m loving the 10 by 10 canopy. You can also use one for your tent for when the weather gets colder or snowing especially with the walls up and connect it to the other canopy so you can make a bigger shelter area for you guys like when you want to exercise outdoors but it’s cold out you can set up a corner for you to exercise. Suggestion: maybe you guys can get a couple of those canopies and connect them together. Kelly when is your cook book coming out.
    Blessings To You.

Used to go to Enchanted Rock back in the 70s before it was a state park. At that time it was maybe $1 a car load you could camp any where as long as you want. They had a outhouse and a water facet. I usually camped about where the camp sites or now. I have camped on the top of the dome and turkey peak. But were a lot of work. I like camping down mountain and taking a tarp and sleeping bag and sleeping on top of dome as the stars were brite. Stayed there for over a week a few times and would swim in the stock tank behind the dome. Many memories, done repelling on back side of dome and there were caves that go from top to bottom. Lots of bouldering to.

Happy to see you two finally found the straight-sided canopy you were searching for. Lol...It was so cute seeing Kellie vibin' in the background as you were unboxing it. Reminds me of the giddiness I get when we open and try out new camping gear after a long search for that "perfect" product. Have fun exploring your new and exciting lifestyle, and we wish you all the best!

Glad to see you camping again and life retuning to normal for you-all. To add on to your discussion about shoes and what to buy for those who are just getting in to running and or hiking, is using a Local Running or Sports Store.Besides size the better stores with well trained people that can analyze your stride and determine what shoe type may work best for you. Although there is not much of a plus side to lving in Baton Rouge, we are at least fortunateenough to have probably the Best Running Store in the country.

On the backside of Enchanted Rock is a cave you can go through and at one point you'll need to get on your stomach to crawl through a small opening. You'll suddenly realize "there's a lot of rock above me" 😆
If camping at Enchanted Rock it's always fun after dark to go up to the top and lay on the rock star gazing.

Enchanted Rock is an "Exfoliation dome". It exfoliates and large sheets break away from water getting under the layers and freezing during the winter. Also, Enchanted Rock is the highest point of magma in the state that managed to push its way up and out, protruding over 400 hundred feet above the surrounding land . It's essentially a large pimple in the middle of Texas.

    • @overcomeinone8371
