Thanks for the super informative video! IMHO, this explained the strategy of ABB teams better than anything else I’ve watched. I’m looking forward to more content like this!
Both these strats were for when your ABB team wins lead, so what would you recommend in the situation where you lose lead and your opponent is using either of the two?
Great question! So it make a pivot less useful, you need to weaken their counter swap for the Type 1 Pivot so that they get minimal to no value in keeping a low HP Pokémon around. For Type 2 Pivot, similar strategy as well but just their lead Pokémon. Against a good player who knows what they’re doing, they’ll often keep their pivot Pokémon healthy, which is much harder to come back from. Just like how if you play the pivot right when you win the lead, it’s very hard to lose, the same could be said against opponents that pivot against you.
your videos are instructive and simple, thank you. We are waiting for you to watch the videos of the teams that include the teams of that league or the teams you like to play at every league time.
I am an expert and sitll really loved this video! Helped me quite much and yeah sometimes I do that but it was a really nice showing and I learned stuff to. I rarly did a swap after winning the safe swap lead
Did you know about The Pivot prior to this video? If so, do you regularly use it?
I didnt but my highest elo ever is around 2430.
Mayby thx to this series ill break it this season
Thx caleb 😘
All the time
Always use soft & hard counter, swapping the soft in on lead loss.

In more simpler terms: ABB teams are having a lead pokemon that cover your back 2 pokemon that share either the same typing or a shared weakness!!!
And Yes Caleb explains certain little tricks and tips sometimes a little bit more in depth than other content creators!!! ✌
this is not filler content! top notch, thanks man!
I knew about the pivot, but wasn’t using it nearly effectively enough. Your video has helped me get a few more wins today. Extremely helpful!
First video I’ve seen in this series. The PvP community has been starved for this kind of content, keep it up homie! -BigMon3y
This is probably the best PvP top video I’ve seen
Love the vid. You explained it in an easy way that made perfect sense and the videos made PERFECT sense with it. Great job Caleb!!

One of the best video. Very informative . Thanks
Great explanation!
Thanks Caleb 💪🤟
Great video, would be cool to see a switch video with bad leads
You created ABB, Skarmory, Shiftry, Meganium… enough said.
Write that down Patrick! Write that down!!!!
The only pivot I know is from Friends

Now make video for switch? Just opposite end of pivot. Please
so this video only apply to good lead i suppose?
Yes primarily or if you win lead back in the safe swap matchup
I don't like you making my pvp victims better :(
They used to be my victims too 😅
