Most known undercharge is always the Registeel one. You undercharge the Zap Cannon to just not kill that watertype (for example Tapu Fini or Blastoise) and then use the last bit of their HP to load up on a next Zap Cannon so you can throw that on the next pokemon to come in.
Thanks for all the pro tips. I really enjoy this series. One little request. Could you please gather them in a playlist. I hope it's no trouble. Thank you again👍
This was the first time I've ever heard that swiping some vs no bubbles makes a difference and that it's not fully dependent on the "Nice," Great," or "Excellent." Huge tip.
You are new to this are you!? PvP I mean! That concept had been out like for ever the thing is that no one wants to explain it… with our getting pat 1st! Couching any one! Lol
I think it wasn't until watching London World's tournament games that i learned that there was more fidelity to undercharging than just excellent = 100%, great = 75%, nice = 50%, etc.
The inbetween undercharges are really for the happy few. Even Worlds best players stick to the four stages as that is already quite something to pull of, or it is enough precise.
Moves like that are very difficult to me it is a hit am missed at the most! Also the so called pros had used Silph Road Arena to sharpen this skills! But with silph gone will see what they are going to do!
My man Caleb, u explained this perfectly dude, I've done this time n time again, but it always felt like a guessing game, sometimes too mich sometimes not enuff, but I have a Wayyy better understanding now Thanks 👍🏼
I did a few under charge recently in Master League in one of my videos and it was a really hard skill to be perfect at. It didn't matter in the end in those battles but it could have.
Also! From trainer battles, ive realized vast differences in dng depending on undercharge. Ibmean i got my Poliwrath ice punching Candellas salamance for 6+1 bubbles, 5, then 4. But! Not all charge moves have same amount of bubbles! I.e. ice punch has 8 sets of 4 where meteor mash has like 6 sets of 4??
Is there any data on what percentage of 100% each bubble does? That’s one of the questions I’ve still never found an answer for. Obviously it’s different for each animation since many of them have a different number of total bubbles. So not sure if it breaks down smoothly or if it is kind of a mystery just how different 0 bubbles vs 3 bubbles is
Good one to know is just remember the damage a move does with full bubbles to a pokemon, that is all you need to know. And many members over 12 seasons of playing know that already. Then the undercharge is not that hard as it is 25% for no bubbles, 50% Nice, 75% Great, 100% Excellent. So Nice move will do half the damage the full move did. It is all of course visually judged as it is the opponents energy bar that you are watching all the time.
Everyone has their own way to understand how they are doing a move in the game… is like fast move counting some used their own mons fast moves or they will count turns or fast moves from the opponent!
These seem obvious to me. However!!! The amount to undercharge DOES NOT! ZERO bubbles vs a few(3-4) seem drastically different. I guess im tryna figure out how to undercharge adequately.
Also, I'm not a huge pvper. Anxiety. But I've noticed a huge increase in skill level of the community over last 2 seasons! Dang! Except for Little Cup!😅 prolly why i like it
Your 1st example. 0 bubbles! Huge difference between 0 and even 1-3 bubbles hit. I may have to experiment with this; bcuz im sure its a ratio/formulaic %. 0 bubbles vs 1-3 is a big dif! Dude needed a few in the example! At least 4! Maybe more! Idk! Fosho
2nd example. 4 bubbles! Doesn't matter when(idont think, and proves out in teainer battles), just the amount. Each bubble always worth same amount... except 0vs1+
What's one of your most recent undercharge attempts?

I think registeel is the most important for undercharge as mentioned above. I don't play enough to have good data/input.

same, i didnt even know that was a thing either lol
@@ssj2trunks103 nah that’s the thing that’s wild about it is I’ve hit legend the past two seasons and was completely unaware of this.

Man how much everyone misses Silph R Arena! Lol that’ was the place to really practice am learn this type of things!
I think the hardest Pokémon to learn undercharging with is registeel. But it’s also one of the best to use it with

Oh! You just said it's very specific and very different per the the mon. I agree!😅

ya this really needs to be in the video. Its the most important part to know
@@benjaminclemens755that’s not how it works it’s the number of bubbles so that’s just a benchmark number

Thank you for the contribution 😆❤️
One never knows opponents stats vs yours, break points are REAL! BOTH WAYS!😅
Guess gotta gauge fast attk dmg to determine breakpoints. Good luck!😅😂

I hate when I undercharge, but the algorithm doesn't allow me to and I still knock out the opponent.
