Just picked up the 2023 Highlander Platinum trim yesterday and can confirm the interior lights are still halogen and weak as well. Unreal that they still don't give you LED interiors for a top of the line Toyota.
Exceptional. The covers will only open the way you told, same with the light bulbs. You need to watch it carefully to understand how the covers will open, even how you hold the bulbs and pull it out. Thank you for uploading this video, without this it will be very hard to do that. One thing, the sunvisior bulb cover , they open in same way, there I got confused that driver's one will open the way you told and passenger one the opposite way. Just mention in video that both will be opened in same way.
Could you make a list in your description of all the lights you switched out and what you used. I'd like it for both the interior light video and also your exterior light video for the highlander. - great video, but I want to order, but I don't want to miss anything. - thanks

Great detailed video, I have already replaced the backup lights with leds, so now all interior lights are swapped also, rear hatch light seems a little loose, I may bend the metal holder a little to make it more firm, now I wish I could get rid of the yellow overhead lights 😂😂
I thought I was the only one who thought ( that’s crazy that the front door lights are embedded on the panel ) I can’t wait to see how you worked around it
@@hbonthetrack I wouldn’t say I’m a pro at all, but I’ve done a fair share of it…that’s what needs to be done to swap the map lights…I’ll walk through the process in the video as soon as I get the correct LEDs!

I have replaced the LED chip on the front map light board with soldering, the LED is 5730 (5630) chip and the negative should be on the outside from the center of the board.
