  • In this session, Geodesic Games’ Kristof Klipfel, CEO and Dennis Dubinin, CTO, go through all the important information users need to know in order to get started with real-time lighting control in Unreal Engine. They also discuss the ins and outs of DMX hardware and software, and how hardware control will open up countless further opportunities in the virtual production and live performance industries in the future.
    Additionally, viewers will get valuable insight into how they can bring DMX control into their current virtual production workflows.
    Great for: anyone interested in learning how to make their content more immersive through physical hardware control; this includes creators of live entertainment and immersive/multimedia experiences and users of virtual production tools.

    This was really amazing! Would love to know what the light panels were that they were using in Amsterdam.

    I'm studying Unreal for a job right now, and if I only speak English well, I think I can learn a lot.

    Is there a way to change the real colors in unreal instead by a real light ?
    Is there a way to get rid of the green screen ? Maybe by taking a "screenshot" of the background ?

    man i have a weird question , i followed what you did exactly but
    when i drag the light fixture BP moving head to the scene
    the light beam is not there , it is not shown , as it is turned off or i am missing something
    do you have any idea how to show the beam ?

    What about porting dmx fixtures in Twinmotion? We use Twinmotion for architectural real-time walkthroughs, it would be nice to use it also for lighting shows design. Imagine to use Vectorworks to design a light stage, export everything in Twinmotion and animate it through a console. Now let’s wear a vr headset to watch a 3d stage full of volumetric lighting effects...

      мы так и делаем , только зачем векторворкс или любой другой визуализатор, разве что для простого плотта? меши Вы создаёте в чем угодно, развес и чертежи там-же..... библиотека приборов, худо бедно есть в анриле и она развивается...

    Can the light automatically display the colour which would be hitting the subject from the virtual world in real time? So basically subject is lit in real time with no post compositing needed.

    So does unreal support usb dmx interfaces? Or only artnet ones?

    • @melnikandrey
      @melnikandrey 3 роки тому +1

      то что Вы называете "интерфейс usb dmx" по сути, ни что иное, как самый бюджетный вариант любого физического пульта"....сама прибамбасина от usb на экселер-это просто преобразователь "условного арт-нета" в физический дмх сигнал, а основа любого пульта-софт(в любом размещении). в 90 случаях из ста, Вы можете "снять" с софта этот арт-нет, ну если, конечно Вы не используете старые пульты или дешёвые дискотечные приблуды или пульты....да Вам они и ненужны...почти все самые брендовые пульты распространяют свой софт бесплатно именно для того, чтобы вы могли по арт-нету подключится к ЛЮБОМУ визуализатору, в т.ч и анрилу....деньги начинаются именно когда Вы подключаете "живые приборы"...но тут у них есть бюджетные решения

    Hi . I want to buy a video camera compatible with Unreal Engine to connect and shoot with chroma input directly after 3D creation
    What do you recommend to buy the type of camera compatible with the fifth version
