As a Kenyan...I find it difficult to define Kenyan Custom and Culture.. Kenya today starting over 2000 years has Over 42+ tribes. They comprise of Bantu , Nilotes, Nilote Hamitic, Custic, Arabs, Persia, Indian, English etc . each contributing in the matrix of Culture & Customs. Kenya is definitely a Melting pot of Cultures.
Economic integration first through entrepreneurship and starting businesses in various sectors including real estate and agribusiness despite the challenges, then socio-cultural integration then geo-political integration .

In 2019 before pandemic at least 250-300K from US all groups visited Kenya as per US state department . After 2020 protests in US at least 2000-3000 Black America in Kenya part of different Black expat groups in Kenya . Overall 40K from US permanent resident/dual citizen in Kenya mostly in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa .

My guess was Mombasa because Mombasa is similar to some of the islands 🏖️ in South America that a lot of Black and brown Americans retire or move to. blacks in Caribbean Africa say African Americans are organized politically but economically no.They say even assuming there is discrimination form your own black schools with black teachers especially areas with large black population.your own supermarkets hospitals and above all a bank for yourself i.e. parallel system. They also say rich African Americans like Oprah, serena fubu guy should help the poor African Americans on tuition fee for college after which they can work as expats in other countries. These are the reasons you can't agree on topic of race with other blacks from black majority countries in Caribbean and Africa.
Post slavery behavior. A system geared to teach inferiority, self hate, distrust, etc., among ourselves in order to keep us from using our economic power...or any power for that matter. We had banks(research Freedbank), and we had economically stable communities (research Black Wall Street). However without fail, once we began to emerge, this very same system went to work to tear it all down. All the same, Africa suffers the same behavior, a continent of countries with all the world's natural resource needs, yet it suffers because it is controlled by Western and European powers, cannot (or will not) agree on created a borderless countries between Brother nations, etc. So, we need each other to help each other by being united with each other.
