Dark thank you so much for posting these walkthroughs on UA-cam. I’m a 35 year old truck driver studying infosec in my evenings and turning on your videos while I drive (to listen not to watch) really helps me swallow the byte size chunks of information that I get from going through the rooms the night before. Your content here is invaluable to my progress and I really appreciate you.
That's really cool to hear! I'm glad that you're able to use the videos in innovative ways with listening while on the road. Best of luck with your infosec journey ❤
Thank you so much for your videos! I’m still a English learner and sometimes I have trouble concentrating. With the help of your videos, I can concentrate for a lot longer and I learned how to pronounce a lot of words.
For Networking Tool re: Dig.......Based on the article, the very first place your computer would look to find the IP address of a domain is the "Hosts File". This is an older system where IP-to-domain mappings can be manually created, and it takes precedence before any DNS-related checks. If no entry is found there, the system proceeds to check the local DNS cache. It's not "Local Cache" But awesome videos....Thanks so much for the help!
Hey darksec, really appreciate you making these videos. Some advice would maybe be to explain how you got the answers to some of the qustions because sometimes i get kind of lost trying to follow. Thanks!
Hi everyone! I would like to get some input. Does anyone feel like they are able to remember all of the information that is provided when going through the THM rooms? Or do you just try to understand the basic concepts and try to remember a few of the important details?
Thoroughness is key! Pick one bug type you want to go after and just focus on that first. It can be something simple, just be sure to focus on mastery rather than the monetary reward of bug bounty at first :)
