Careful with those drip emitters, especially if you have hard water, they tend to need to be played with every so often otherwise they slowly clog
When you say “lots of water” how much water is that exactly? Everyday, couple times a day?
During the summer... 3 - 4 times a week ( hits 100 degrees sometimes), but we drop that to once a week when it gets cooler. They love the water, but the roots like to dry. So soil drainage is key. Keep the soil simple and put your nutrients on top and water it in... cheers.

How did you build your trellis?
Pressure Treated Lumber, Concrete post and wood post... French drain runs the whole length.
