Obedience: Denouncing Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority...

This is my story about why I chose to denounce my affiliation with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. out of obedience to God, and love for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I hope this frees someone.

Who cares? Why can’t you just do this silently… Announcements don’t have to be done publicly. And nobody cares about you no longer being a part of a sorority. You should’ve done all this soul-searching and scripture searching before you even became a member of the organization.

I don't think this is fair of you to say, everyone's walk with the Lord is different. She's providing another perspective because there might be prospects that might also feel this discomfort. She literally said that she was putting it above God, if it be in God's will then let it be done. Remember what this org was founded on. Don't be rude, remain respectful because it is HER life and HER relationship with the Lord. Completely unnecessary comment in my opinion.
